Amelia's p.o.v

I was carefully putting the cooked dishes on the kitchen table while glancing at the room's entrance here and there.

After an hour of debating where we should eat, I chose the kitchen. It was far away from the entrance door of the pack house and further away from the living room and dining hall.

Ian had two different sides, or was it characters. He was so cold a second then kind the next.

Him saying that we should eat supper together wasn't supposed to make me feel happy or have me lower my guard, yet here I was doing just that.

It was possible that he was messing with me and that he wanted nothing to do with me, sadly I still couldn't stop myself from hoping for his genuine love.

"That's impossible." Aurora whispered.

I put the last plate on the table then sighed softly.
