Chapter 17

A cold bath.

A cold shower will do.

I got up on my feet and raced down to the bathroom for the third time to take a cold shower. As soon as I took the shower, it stopped immediately. I went back to normal. I stopped thinking about him.

Thinking about him might trigger it more.

"Just accept him, please. Please. It is for both of us. We can't reject him. He is no ordinary wolf. We belong to him." Sabrina pleaded.

"You sound as if we are an object to him. We can survive without him. We can. I needed to make it through with my mission first. He is already becoming a distraction to me now."

"You will make it through with your mission very easily if he is by your side, Iris. He is going to be of good help. He has his problems and he is more powerful than we are." Sabrina explained.

"Powerful?"

"Yes, he is. But I am still trying to get what rank he belongs to. All I know, for now, is that he is a powerful person." Sabrina said and went silent after that.
