Hello, lovelies!!!
I just want to inform you ahead of time that the next three chapters would be about Aaron.
You could skip it and continue with Gavin and Alia but I highly recommend you read these as well since they won´t be included or written in Aaron´s book.
Yup, Aaron will have his own book (Book 3) after the Beta´s book and the story would pick up after we concluded Gavin and Alia´s story so it would be crucial to have a glimpse of this part as we continue to Aaron's story.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank every one of you for reading this book. Your comments, the good and the bad were my motivation to continue, even the way you hated Alia was a good indication for me. I never intend to have perfect characters, so hating them means I was doing something right.
Also, I want to thank you for staying and trusting me to weave this fantasy world. I´m hoping you will stick with me until the end. I am always grateful for the love and support you´ve given me and my books! I didn´t know my simple story would capture anyone´s heart but you proved me otherwise. THANK YOU!!!
Tomorrow would be the last day for the GEMS to be distributed and gifted to your favorite books, if you have anything to spare for me, Gavin, and Alia - we would welcome them wholeheartedly! :)
THANK YOU AGAIN, Lovely Readers!
xoxo,
Cassandra M
JANNA This morning, my brother initiated me into his pack together with a female named Daniella. Daniella told me she was mated to one of my brother's warriors and was now moving into this pack. She looked happy and I wondered if I would ever find my own fated mate someday. My Mom and Dad were Fated Mates but they didn't have a good start and their relationship caused a rift between my father and my half-brother, Alpha Jake. But things were starting to get better and they were slowly repairing their relationship. Hopefully, every wound would heal soon. As for me, finding my mate was just out of curiosity. I could never count the many times I fell head over heels with some guys at the school so I wondered what´s the difference between choosing your own boyfriend versus finding your Mate, that they said the Goddess blessed you with. Not that I had many boyfriends in the past, I only had one, my current. But just as I said, I fall in love too man
AARON "Beta Gavin is probably in bed, pleasing his mate. But if you want to disturb them, be my guest. I can drive you over to his parent's house." I answered nonchalantly, as I slipped my hands into my jeans pocket watching as her squinted eyes shifted on me. "Aaron!" Clair gasped at my response, and the Alpha snickered before pulling her sister into a tight hug. "I could have explained it better, Janna but the Gamma said it right. So, unfortunately, you´re stuck with him." He answered in a coy manner. "Can somebody else, drive me? Maybe he´ll throw me dead somewhere." She groaned. "Look, Janna. I would never trust you to anyone except my Beta and my Gamma. And as much as that man irritates the hell out of you, no one can protect you better than him. He´s my best warrior and I would trust him with my life, that´s why he´s here to drive you when I can´t." My heart warmed at my Alpha´s words and I was glad he knew how much I would offer my own life for him and my sister, and fine,
AARON I panicked the moment I went back to the car and I couldn´t find her anywhere. The window at the back seat was broken and the door was left open. Did she run away or was she taken? The rogue I fought with was rabid and was in for a kill, and my heart clenched just thinking of the many possible ways Janna could have been hurt and only the Goddess know if she was still alive. 'Where are you? Janna! Janna!' I tried to reach her mind but she wasn´t responding. I shifted back to my wolf and let Ark lead me to her scent and not long after, I heard her scream from somewhere. A part of me was relieved to know she was still breathing, now, I only needed to get to her fast. Ark leaped and ran the fastest speed we´ve ever done just in time to see a gray wolf reach for Janna, forcing her to stumble down on the ground. The rumble in my throat deepened to a snarling growl as I spring forward and took the gray wolf by its neck, dragging him away from h
ALIA The whole day went by so fast that I couldn´t believe the day would end without one of us walking away from each other. Gavin was patient enough to train me at the forest ground. He was thinking that my rejection of him had weakened my wolf and the only way we could help her was to strengthen my inner and outer being through training. If Sky wasn´t in question, I would have complained and lured him to spend time with me in a different way, but I know where our focus should be right now. And I was determined to have my wolf back. By mid-afternoon, I was already able to dodge his attacks and counter most of them. Training with him wasn´t bad at all, with a few sway of my hips and flexing of my chest, he would get distracted. I know those moves won´t help me in a real fight but Gavin was a pro and was good at it, and he wasn't going easy on me, so I have to distract him from time to time so I could get even with him. I stepped ba
ALIA My eyes immediately flung open as my body jerked up. I didn´t even know I fell asleep. I've been laying in our bed and waiting for Gavin to come back from his mission with the Alpha but I might have eventually dozed off. I snapped my head to the bedside clock and saw it was already 3 o'clock in the morning and yet, the space beside me was still empty. Gavin wasn´t home yet. I shoved off the blanket and stood up from the bed, grabbing my bathrobe and putting it on. My throat felt dry and I could feel my heart beating erratically. I don´t like what I feel right now. Something was off but I hope it has nothing to do with Gavin. I grabbed the empty glass from the side table and poured water on it, gulping it in seconds before I hurriedly went out of the door and made my way to the stairs. I found Luna Clair pacing back and front at the receiving area, her face was showing no emotions but on the way she was biting her lower lip,
GAVIN Darkness. The last thing I remembered was fangs sinking into Kurt´s waist before I wrapped our paws into the rogue´s body and leaped up, taking the rogue with us but I didn´t feel us landing or dropping somewhere. I couldn't remember anything after that. And now, there was nothing but darkness. And pain. My eyelids were heavy but I tried to open my eyes. It took a while, but when I did, my heart started beating erratically. Alia. She was peering back at me, I tried to smile but my lips couldn't move. My whole face was heavy. It was too bright but I wanted to see her, so I kept my eyes open. Only then did I realize, it wasn't her. My Alia´s eyes were green and not brown. Her hair was blonde and not black. "Al...lia.." I couldn't even hear my own voice. My throat was parched dry but I felt like drowning. In an instant, a soft palm supported my neck, guiding me towards a glass of wat
ALIA Alpha Jake didn´t give me a hard time after my request. He immediately went into full action and did the ceremony to welcome me into his pack. After I felt my bond with my brother´s pack dissolve, I felt a new bond form in my head and my chest. And after that, I immediately proceeded to prepare our bags. I couldn't wait to see Gavin. The ride to the Moon Lake Pack´s territory was long and tiring but I found myself wide awake through the whole three-hour ride. My mind was running many thoughts in my head and in moments like this, I wished I have Sky. At least when she was around, I don´t have to feel alone. The Alpha was driving the car. Luna Clair previously told me that whenever she went somewhere with him, he never let anyone drive the car. He simply doesn´t trust anyone to drive his Luna. And seeing them right now, as they held each other´s hand was crushing my heart. Not that I don't want them to, I was just missing my own mate.
ALIA The Alphas and Luna Clair left the room a few minutes ago, and now I was finally alone with my mate. I immediately slipped off my tight pants and changed into comfortable leggings and a loose shirt before positioning myself on Gavin´s bedside. I plopped myself beside him that I was laying on my side, with my elbows anchored to the mattress and palming the side of my head while my fingers were trailing on his shoulder and collarbone. "Hi, baby... Aren´t you tired of sleeping yet?" I asked, my lips pouting. Although my heart was still heavy, I feel much better now than I did these past few days. "It´s lonely here without you... Days are boring and nights are horrible. You need to wake up now..." When there were still no movements, I let out a deep breath before resting my forehead on his. "Kurt, can you hear me?" My voice was so low and raspy that I almost believe it didn't come from my mouth. "Can you wake up now? And wake up Gavin t
