Chapter 70

Arielle thought Eric would scold Gun when she stood up from his seat and seemingly got angry that Gun drank the wine that was supposed to be her. However, Eric simply stood up and gave Gun a sharp look, which the latter did not seem to care about, even if Eric was staring at him full of annoyance.

"It's okay. Just give me another one," he said to Eric. The man quietly sat back down, then called the waiter and asked for another glass. He poured the wine into the glass wine and this time, she was the one who received it. Gun tasted the wine earlier and it was fine, so it meant it was safe for her to drink.

Ever since she got poisoned at the restaurant they had eaten at, Gun has been tasting any food she puts in her mouth if it was not cooked at her house. She just lets him be, as she does not want to end up in the hospital again. Aside from being a hassle because she has lots of postponed work the smell inside the hospital is also something she doesn't like.
