CHAPTER SIXTY-TWO.Jamal and Adele ended up spending the night together again. After hearing all that Jamal had to say, Adele couldn't help but feel sorry for the guy for having such a selfish father. A father who would choose to put his son’s life and reputation on the line just to save his company.Jamal went ahead to tell her how he had promised himself to take everything his father owned and he had succeeded in doing just that. Adele was proud of all that he had overcome.Slowly she felt the hatred she had for him in her heart die down. What she admired the most was his ability to stay cool and act like nothing was going on. His father had no idea he had found out what he was up to and Jamal didn't give him any reason to suspect that he had found out. What also baffled Adele was how Danielle found out that his father had set traps for him, because he did not tell her. In as much as Jamal was mad at Danielle for sleeping with his father, that was something he did not want to spread because the last thing he wanted was to damage her reputation. CHAPTER SIXTY-FOUR.Danielle had still not given up on Jamal. After her confrontation with Adele, she was even more heartbroken and confused. She had thought Adele was an easy girl she was going thread over, but Adele had proven to be fierce and she had even made understand that she was never to leave Jamal for her.Also, Shannele told her how Jamal scolded their mother for confronting Adele and she was beginning to lose hope. CHAPTER SIXTY-FIVE.Jamal was surprised to meet Adele waiting for him in his private parking lot once the elevator opened up."Adele." He called, frightened as he stepped out of the elevator and rushed over to Adele who was standing by one of his cars."Adele" he called yet again and she looked up at him with an anxious look in her eyes."Jamal. What happened between you and Danielle. The entire office was talking about how you had your guards throw her out of the building. What happened?" Adele asked worried and Jamal rolled his eyes as he groaned in frustration. He had thought something more important was bothering her."Oh… that." Exclaimed, Jamal sarcastically. "That was nothing.""What do you mean nothing? One of my colleagues said she was wailing like a widow whose children had been seized by her in-laws. You… you can picture that scenario, right? You can picture how devastated that widow would be, right?""Adele, why the hell are we talking about a distressed widow right now?"

CHAPTER SIXTY-SEVEN.Adele came back home when Jamal had already finished cooking dinner and they ate together even though there was a lot of tension in the air. She went straight to bed after dinner, while Jamal spent almost the night working.Morning came and it was time for both of them to take their baths and dress up for work. Adele took her bath first and dressed up while Jamal waited in the living room. When she was done she walked out and signaled him to go in and get ready as well. Jamal, who didn't see the point in all what they were doing could only shake his head and obey her, because he did not want to annoy her or anything. While he showered, Adele went to the kitchen and made toast and scrambled eggs in less than no time.
