Harold's POV

When I started getting calls upon calls and contracts upon contracts, these past few months, I knew that a time would come when I would have to play the game.

The game of the business world.

I knew and understood the in and out very well. I knew how everything works. I knew how it ran and dare I say that I wasn't pleased with the whole thing.

I had been there at a point when some assholes had tried to pull that shit on us. On EMPIRE. Thankfully, the assistant assigned to me then had been a lot more loyal than I expected.

Riella is the right person for me.

I might not be saying it out loud but I had studied and observed her a lot these past few months and I'd gotten to see how loyal she can be. I had to admit that I was very impressed.

Having the whole thing blow up in my face in the form of a website sabotage and security infiltration, I knew and understood that the hour had come.

But amidst all these things, I was still trying to understand why I was unlucky with women.
