A Marriage Proposal

She stopped thinking.

How many times in her life had she suddenly bumped into a hot CEO? None! How many times had she been kissed by one? Even if it only ended as one mad fling. Never!

She felt electricity as their lips touched. The tip of her tongue darted out to sweep over the acute sensation. He sucked it into his mouth. Then she pressed her body against his in response. And it felt good- her soft feminity against his hot and muscled chest.

She heard him shut the door with his foot and all she could think was, oh yes.

Immediately the door was shut, Louis Schelling pushed her away from him and she landed hard on the bed. She stared at him, still dazed.

Totally ignoring her, he pulled his phone from his pocket. He called the hotel, reporting the people at his door. He shoved the device back into his pocket and then turned to her, his eyes dark with fury.

'Who the fuck are you?' He ground out.

'W-wendy' She murmured, her brain still fried from the kiss.

'Who cares about your stupid name? Who the fuck sent you here? And wipe that surprised look on your face because your stupid game is up, you whore!'

It was like something in her snapped. Wendy sprang up and charged towards him. She was shaking her tiny fist at him.

'You will not call me a whore. You were the one who tried to force yourself on-'

'You've got to be a very good actress. You switched so easily from calling me an abuser to kissing me and now you're back here?'

'No. You kissed me.'

'Fuck, how did I get here again? Who sent you? Rhoda? Rhoda sent you to set me up?'

Six years ago, he was in a scandal. His life had crumbled because a woman he had loved had set him up and thrown him to the dogs. Rhoda.

He had recovered and had been very careful since. His carefulness hadn't been enough, obviously. A whore had sneaked past his walls and put him in that position again.

What was he saying? 'Why would I set you up?' Wendy was confused.

'You tell me. I pay for your services, you refuse to have sex with me. Then you start with the name calling. Take note. You do this on the top of your voice. Then you conveniently open the door to leave and there are cameras everywhere. You, explain.'

'I don't know what you are talking about. I didn't even know who you were till-'

'Fuck! You're pushing my bottons.' He moved to her and shook her shoulders, hard. ' Can you fucking speak so I would know what the fuck to prepare for?' When he left her, she stumbled and fell to the floor.

Now, she was scared. The man was mad. And it didn't look like he was about to let things slide till she had confessed to what he was insisting she did.

'I swear, I don't know what you are talking about. You have to believe me. Just let me go home. Please.'

'You have to be sick in the head, if you think I'll let you leave this place. What do you think would happen if that nasty stuff about me gets published. What about my reputation? My father's? W-wait a minute? Did my father's political opponents hire you?'

'I don't even know who your father is! Please! This is a huge misunderstanding.'

'Fuck! Fuck!' He swore bitterly. Staring at her, he pulled out his phone from his pockets. This woman was an actress. He hated actresses. How could someone so beautiful continue to lie with a such a straight face?

He punched his phone furiously. Then the barking began.

'I paid you a freaking six hundred dollars per hour fee only for your whore to set me up? Is this what you guys do? Lure wealthy men, accuse them of rape and throw them to those fucking reporters. You don't know what is coming for you, I swear. I'll sue for defamation and character assassination. You'll be sorry you had anything to do with me.'

Wendy imagined her parents on the other side of the line, pleading. She tried not to pity them. They were criminals. They illegally traded sex to satisfy greed.

They actually did pimp their only child to a client, as a call girl. But yes, they had always put money before her. But she failed. She was angry at them but she didn't want them in prison.

Wendy stood up and tried pleading again. 'Please sir, let me speak to them.' The man ignored her and shoved the phone back into his pocket.

'Sorry darling, you're not talking to anyone outside this room unless this issue is trashed. Fuck!'

Wendy shuddered. The man spoke with so much venom. She had to come up with a way to get herself out of the mess.

'Please listen sir, we can sort this mix up. I did not know who you were until few minutes ago. I don't know why I would want to do something like that to someone I barely -'

His phone started to beep and held up his hand up to stop her. She saw his facial features change from anger to exhaustion and what looked like fear.

Louis took a deep breath. 'Hello Father.'

Who said father in this planet anymore? Wendy thought.

'Articles? So soon?' Louis exclaimed. 'Father, please listen to me. It's not what it seems. I am not the man I was six years ago. This is not six years ago. It is obvious, you would never let me off the hook for that. I have apologized with my life, father. Rhoda did- '

Louis turned to Wendy with a deadly look on his face. He hated whenever Rhoda's betrayal came up. He hated it because of it reminded of what he wanted to forget but it hurt him more that nobody saw the betrayal.

To everyone else, he was the one that hurt the beautiful actress, Rhoda Dregs.

The whole scandal had cost him alot. It had also cost his father his mayorship seat. And the man did not miss out an opportunity to throw it in his face. This silly woman was the reason his father was talking about it again.

'We're getting married soon, father.'

Oh, the hot CEO who paid raw cash for the service of a prostitute and kissed her senseless was going to get married. Soon.

She didn't know whether she was sad or disgusted or disappointed. No wonder he was angry. His cheating ass was going to be exposed. Why was she surprised? Rich hot CEOs were always cheating pieces of shit with trophy wives for the gram.

'Father, It was a secret relationship. I didn't want it everywhere that I was dating seriously again. Sincerely, the abuse story is false. You know I already have that reputation. The media just wants a story that sells. I promise.

I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize your future again, sir. I'll do something about it. I have mother's ring, father. I'll propose soon. I'm sorry you had to hear of it this way. Goodbye father.'

Louis swore loudly and flung his phone. Wendy gasped and watched the device shatter as it landed on the hard floor.

Louis walked to her, hands in pocket. His face shone with anger.

'You'll have to marry me.'
