Orion laid down on the bed, covering his eyes with his hand; he had been awake for almost an hour but he chose to stay silent since he knew all Seraphina was waiting for was for him to get up, unknowingly to her that he was awake already.

It was not until he slightly moved, before Seraphina turned completely to him, sitting up in the bed with her hands between her legs and her eyes directed towards the bed.

“Hey,” she muttered, moving her eyes from her hands to Orion who still remained silent with his eyes shut.

Since he woke up, he could not just push away the thoughts of what happened the previous night— from the way Elysia spoke to him calmly to a rude tone, although he noticed the urge to dismiss the conversation in her voice, but that was not just enough to push him away.

Also, he noticed the way Calvin looked at her; from the beginning of their conversation till she got up from where she was seated.

Initially, he had always thought making up with Elysia was impossible since

The phone was still in Elysia's hand, and she tightened her grip on it, unable to hide the disgust that was on her face. She said nothing, she was just seated there, static, except from the movement of her eyes, which was at intervals, but finally, she let out a sigh, handing the phone back to Calvin who had a concerned look on his face, almost disappointed. Barely a second after she passed the phone back to Calvin, she let out a sigh, picking up her phone, and she unlocked it, staring at the lots of them.“It's about Mr. Belmont,” she spoke, breaking the silence that had filled the atmosphere for almost ten minutes. “So what do I have to do with it?” Calvin pressed his lips into a thin line, gently dropping his phone on the table. “I don't think it has something to do with you, but then, people think about things differently, and trust me, one person's comment can twist the brain of others.” “Only the dumb ones Calvin,” she reminded, her voice calm even when the news was worth an

“Tried calling you, but it was not going through,” Jake's voice echoed in the office, almost hoarse. “Was there any problem?” Damon let out a sigh as he walked out of Mr. Isaac's office, shutting the door gently. “No, it's just that I was busy with something.” He was just coming out of the office about two hours after he stepped in and his face said it all— he was really stressed. “Did you see the news?” Jake demanded, pacing around the room, from the way he spoke, it was obvious that he was restless, maybe guilty minded, but without a doubt, he seemed shocked about it. “About him.” For a fleeting moment, Damon halted in his tracks, tracing his finger along the wall. “Y- yeah, I think I saw it.” “About him trying to play both women, or is there another one?” Damon inquired, walking away from that spot as he could feel eyes boring into him. “I don't know, as you know, I believe in facts. I mean, raw facts, reasons to believe.” “Then I guess the photo I'm about to send to you w

“Hey,” Seraphina greeted, just as Orion walked into the room, dropping his briefcase in its actual position. “Good evening.” Orion paused in what he was doing, nodding gently. “Yeah, good evening, your day?” Seraphina just shrugged, tilting her head slightly. “Well, maybe I spent it thinking if I was worth living or I'm just existing for a reason that even I myself don't know.” “Whatever thing you wanna discuss, trust me, we can talk about it at dinner,” Orion's gaze was fixed on his wristwatch all along as he slowly took it off, adding it to the large collections that he had. “It's not a big deal, but then, maybe all I need to do is you know… get some rest, cause yes, I had a really stressful day.”Seraphina folded her arms above her chest, rolling her eyes. “Too busy with work that you forgot to buy the pizza?” “Or maybe you were just busy with something else,” she added, making it known that there was something she was willing to talk about. Orion knew what she was trying to s

As they say, news seems to spread like wildfire, the same thing associated with the death of key figures, and even people who are not– they are similar, and it's not something debatable. Damon could not take his eyes off his phone, following the news he saw, but then, he ignored it, coming to accept the fact that a lot of people say things like that, just so they could gain media attention. “Funny,” his voice echoed in the toilet, and he flushed, walking out and he shut the door gently, but then, he came to a halt after setting his eyes on something similar to that, barely after strolling twice, and he narrowed his gaze on the phone, shaking his head. He was in the hallway of the hospital already, walking like he had been programmed already, just in a straight line.“I guess Mr. Belmont is at it again,” the voice of a female pulled him out of his thoughts, and he swallowed hard, turning to them against his will. “Did he really think that is a funny thing to do,” it was the second

“Nessa,” Orion's voice announced his arrival, and the workers who were with Nessa turned back, making way for him to pass following a slight bow. “Good morning sir,” they all said in unison, staring at the floor for a second. Orion paused in his tracks, placing his hands in his pocket as they slowly raised their heads, meeting his gaze, and right after that, he pushed the bridge of his nose up with his index, scanning their faces. “Please, I'm going to need a minute with her, so I don't know if you guys can postpone whatever thing you were talking about,” he was calm, waiting for a response right away. They looked at one another, muttering some things between themselves, and one of them shrugged, returning his gaze to Nessa who was holding a book above her chest, then back to Orion, and a nod followed. “Sure sir,” he replied, nodding once again. “We can wait till you are done sir.” “Thanks,” Orion placed a hand on the man's shoulder, looking him in the eye before he turned to Ne
