Chapter 8

PAULINE

Larry did not even look guilty or ashamed instead, there was a smirk on his stupid handsome face.

He walked up to me, pulled me closer to himself and tucked in my hair behind my hair.

"If I could do it to Leslie who is better than you, why do you think I can not do same to you?" He whispered in my ears.

Cold shivers ran down my spine and I was utterly speechless.

"You jerk! Asshole! How could you? I did not seduce you to cheat on Leslie! You came to me!" I yelled angrily at Larry who was walking toward the stairs to his room.

"You are the reason for our breakup. If not for you, I would still be with timid Leslie and enjoying her money. I mean, do you think I'd leave the third wealthiest family daughter just to be with you? Keep on dreaming!" He yelled right back at me.

"You are shameless Larry and I will ruin you. Don't think you can get away with this. I'm not like Leslie that left without doing anything even when she had the power and money to do something.

But I'm different. I will do everything to ruin you. You messed with the wrong person." I yelled at him. Even if I don't have money and power like Leslie do, I'll still do everything in my power to ruin him.

He showed me his middle finger and left.

"Dress up let's go!" I snapped at Anna who was only in a towel that could barely cover her butt.

"I'm sorry Pauline." She bent her head in shame.

"It's okay. Not like you knew he was my boyfriend." I replied and left.

Larry must pay for humiliating me. I agree that this is karma. I knew he was Leslie's boyfriend then but I still slept with him and dated him behind my friend's back.

This is karma getting back at me.

LESLIE

I yawned lightly from my short nap and climbed down from the bed. I looked around and Caden was not in sight. I slipped my foot into my flip flops.

I left the room and went to the kitchen and there, I met Caden eating grapes.

"Hi," I said to him and walked over to the fridge and took out a bottle of water. I gulped it down and threw the can away in the waste bin.

"You are awake? I thought you were not going to wake up." Caden teased.

"What do you mean? It's not even evening yet." I rolled my eyes. Caden looked at me and laughed.

"It's nightfall already." Caden replied. He placed another grape in his mouth and chewed. "I get why you feel that way, it's because everywhere is bright inside the house but it's dark outside." He added.

"What?" I asked in disbelief. I went to the sitting room to check the time and it was fifteen minutes past seven.

"Wow! I did not know I slept for so long. I slept for four hours, I must have been really tired." I stated.

"I thought so too." He replied.

Just when he was about to put the last piece of grape in his mouth, I took it from the bowl and placed it in my mouth.

"Huh? Why did you do that? It's mine." He grumbled like a child.

I stuck out my tongue a little at him and gave him a "I won"look.

Just then, Caden moved closer to me, titled my head and kissed me deeply, taking the grape right into his own mouth.

I was so shocked that I didn't know what to say. 

"What did you just do?" I managed to ask still in shock. My cheeks had gone pretty hot.

He chewed the grape and stuck out his tongue like a child at me.

"It's mine," He said with a teasing smile.

"That was cheap of you. You could not even leave the last grape for me." I grumbled and glared at him.

"Your eyes will hurt from too much glaring." He chuckled.

"Your strawberries are in the fridge and I got grapes for myself. I did not know you liked grape, I would have gotten many," He said.

"Grapes are my favorite!" I did not know when I yelled.

I was so pained that I did not get to eat the grape but I liked the fact that he kissed me to take it from me.

"Are you sick? Your face is red." He suddenly gasped and touched my face. I removed his hand from my face and bit my lower lip.

"I'm not sick." I replied. I was even more embarrassed because I was blushing just from the mere thought of him kissing and taking the grape out of my mouth.

Just then, Caden caught me unaware by placing a quick kiss on my lips.

"You are just too pretty and cute," He said.

I widened my eyes in shock and just stared at him. 

"You don't have to act surprise anytime I kiss you. You are—" Caden was saying but I caught him off with a kiss.

His eyes widened but he closed them and deepened the kiss.

He raised me up and placed me on the counter. He trailed kisses from lips down to my neck. His hands went into my shirt and his hand caressed my back. 

His other hand was on my thigh. He placed his hand inside my baggy shorts and caressed my thigh.

God! I was so hot. 

I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him even harder. His hand went to my boobs and he squeezed it gently from my bra while I let out a soft moan.

He took me from the counter and carried me into the bedroom.

He laid on me on the bed and hurriedly started to pull his hoodie.

He laid back on my body and resumed kissing me.

Just as he took off my shirt, I pulled abruptly away from the kiss.

I was back to my senses yet again like the previous night.

"Wait! I just got my period!" I didn't know when I yelled those words that were lies and slipped away from under him and left the room. Again.
