CHAPTER THIRTY EIGHT KYLIE'S POV It wasn't hard to find the map since it was still laying freely on one of the chairs in Nathan's car. CHAPTER THIRTY NINENATHANS POV If there was anyone who treated me like I wasn't sick then it would be Rio whenever he came visiting and I kind of liked it. Everyone else was treating me like I was a piece of glass and were taking extra caution in handling me but Rio didn't do that. He treated me the same way he would when I was perfectly okay. CHAPTER FOURTYKYLIE'S POV It was a different type of setting as she led us from the sitting room and into another room. This room wasn't as empty as the first and it contained different decor and also some things hanging by the wall which I believed to be for charms or enchantment. The room also didn't have enough light and it made it all the more creepy. If a regular room gets a score of ten on the brightness of light then this room she led us in would get a three. That is how bad it is but still, I remained brave knowing that Nevida is with me. It's probably a very stupid thing to trust someone after just few encounters with them but for some reason, I trust Nevida. CHAPTER FOURTY ONENATHAN'S POV When the afternoon passed and the evening approached with Kylie not visiting me, I decided to ask for her. My mum had nothing to do with it this time as we both came to an agreement earlier on that she'll let Kylie see me whenever she wants or I'll resort to starving myself. She obviously didn't want that, knowing I was fully well capable of keeping to my words and so she agreed. CHAPTER FORTY TWOKYLIE'S POV It wasn't up to a week before Nathan got back on his feet. He hadn't healed completely yet but he was able to walk and do whatever he wanted. The bullet wound had started scarring but even when it heals completely, the scar would remain. I know all of this because I'm the one who cleans him up and changes his bandages. It's actually fun being around him especially when he gets all flirty with me and I end up acting really wierd as though I forget he's my boyfriend then he goes further to call me anti-romantic. CHAPTER FOURTY FOURNATHAN'S POV There's just something really odd about her tonight and I can't seem to figure it out. CHAPTER FOUTY FIVEKYLIE'S POV Waking up this morning with his hands wrapped around me was the best feeling ever. He looked even more handsome while he slept with his head on my chest and his hands and legs curled around me. It felt so satisfying and I didn't bother waking him up.
