CHAPTER 13: A little revenge plan

It's been almost an hour since I have been scouring the Internet in search of any recent news of Nicole that I could lay my hands on. Yet, I had not recorded any success. All there were, was a trailer load of pictures of her and Vance. More pictures of her.

The only unpleasant news about her were the reports of her car crash.

Her life and their marriage was made out to be blissful, picture perfect and enviable. Their animated faces, and sickening public display of affection might have fooled me had I not overheard what I did.

Then again, there was never smoke without fire. And who better to give information about the rich than the servants who moped their floors.

There was a knock on the door.

I didn't take my eyes off the screen.

“Come in.”

A maid entered and informed me that my breakfast was ready.

“Thank you. I'll be down in a bit.”
