Mitchell's POV

I opened my eyes slowly looking around. I'm in a hospital yet again, why won't they just let me be? I feel kind of empty probably because Chris isn't here as usual.

"Mitchell, how are you feeling now?" Dad asked after noticing I was awake

"I'm fine now! What happened?" I asked softly

"Well, you passed out after getting drugged by someone" he explained shortly

"I was drugged? But who will want to drug me? I didn't get into a fight with anyone recently" I said getting scared

"Chris will be here soon and we will be able to find out who drugged you and why they did that" he said

"Okay, I will just wait for him then" I said but almost immediately, Chris came in

"Mitchell, how are you doing?" he said sitting beside me

"I'm doing good, sorry I always get you worked up" I apologized slowly

"It's nothing! You're my wife and it's my duty to protect you" he said with a smile

Dad coughed loud enough for us to hear and we quickly snapped out of our reverie.
