LOGIN“Don’t get anxious, let me see which scene would work best!” Director Phil said, flipping excitedly through the screenplay.
Inside, Isabella was practically screaming.
Director, please—Scene 46! If you let me act that one, I’ll nail it!
That scene involved Doctor Drey Quinn saving a woman at a military camp—only for her to try seducing him. Natalie, hot-tempered as ever, misunderstood the situation and beat him up on the spot.
As if reading her mind, Jason leaned slightly closer, lowering his voice near her ear.
“My dear… are you hoping for the scene where you get to beat me up?”
Isabella jerked away like she’d been electrocuted. “Idiot. Stay away from me.”
Thanks to him, the hate directed at her was already skyrocketing.
She could practically see the trouble Vivienne and Vanessa were preparing—especially Vivienne. Life had already been hard enough; now this was like getting buried under an avalanche.
Unfortunately, her hopes were crushed.
There was no way the director would let Jason get beaten up on his first day.
After a moment of thought, Phil snapped his fingers.
“Let’s go with Scene 37!”
Isabella’s expression darkened immediately.
She had memorized the script. Scene 37 was—
Not a kiss scene. Not a bed scene.
But honestly? Not much better.
It was the one where Natalie teased Drey.
…
The director gathered them both and began explaining.
“The Frostman family has served as generals for generations, earning immense military achievements. But with power comes suspicion—rumors turned the emperor paranoid, and the Frostman household was pushed to the brink. Natalie’s father died on the battlefield, betrayed by court politics. Fortunately, her older brother, Brandon Frostman, stepped up and took his place, allowing her to live carefree…”
He paused, then added:
“She became something of a troublemaker—running wild through the city, a little tyrant on the streets.”
Jason’s lips curled. He glanced sideways at Isabella and mouthed silently:
Sounds like you.
She ignored him completely.
“This troublemaker spent her days disguised as a young man, completely lacking any ladylike behavior. That is—until she met Doctor Drey Quinn at sixteen. It was love at first sight, and from then on, she pestered him relentlessly…”
Jason raised a hand.
“Director, isn’t this basically a female tyrant kidnapping an innocent flower?”
Isabella shot him a look.
You’re the tyrant.
Director Phil chuckled. “That’s… not entirely wrong. But the key point is this—your previous roles have always been dominant, powerful characters. This time, it’s the complete opposite. You’ll need to adjust.”
Hearing that, Isabella grew slightly uneasy.
Jason always played commanding roles—CEOs, princes, powerful figures. Could he really pull off a gentle, intellectual doctor?
Jason nodded seriously. “Understood. I’m the weak one getting bullied.”
The director looked between them, a hint of concern in his eyes.
Truthfully, he was more worried about Isabella.
Would someone as striking and feminine as her really pull off a reckless, boyish ruffian?
“I chose this scene to test your chemistry,” Phil continued. “One of you plays the shameless rogue, the other plays the patient and restrained gentleman. If this works, everything else will fall into place. Alright—that’s enough. Go get changed.”
Isabella emerged first.
Dressed in a red-and-white outfit styled like a young nobleman, her hair tied into a high ponytail, she looked sharp, bold, and brimming with youthful energy. Her brows were defined, her presence commanding.
She looked exactly like a sixteen-year-old Natalie Frostman.
Even those biased against her had to admit—it was perfect.
Phil nodded in satisfaction. “Bella, loosen up a little in this scene. Don’t worry about looking pretty—be wild, be reckless.”
“Director, don’t worry. I believe she can handle it.”
Jason stepped out just then.
The moment he appeared, the set erupted in gasps.
Even Isabella raised her brows in surprise.
Gone was the arrogant superstar.
In his place stood a refined young doctor—dressed in a soft cyan robe with bamboo patterns, his features gentle, his aura calm and scholarly. He looked like he had stepped out of a classical painting.
Jason shot her a smug glance and whispered,
“Well? Is heaven weeping over my beauty?”
It was a pity the beautiful image was ruined the moment he opened his mouth.
Without missing a beat, Isabella replied calmly:
“Submissive and weak.”
“You—”
“Me?” she cut in smoothly. “Just reminding you—in this story, you are completely… oppressed. By. Me.”
Jason smirked. “Oh really? Then why do I remember a certain scene where I turn the tables? Something about a bed scene…?”
Isabella resisted the urge to strangle him.
Not far away, Vivienne watched them closely, her nails digging into her palms.
Jason hadn’t even looked at her since arriving.
Vanessa stood beside her, voice soft and soothing—but her words were anything but.
“Don’t be upset, Vivienne. Luck is part of this industry too. Isabella just happened to get Jason as her co-star. After this project, she might even rise to second-tier… maybe even first-tier.”
Vivienne’s expression twisted.
“First-tier? She stole what was mine. Do you really think I’ll let her get away with it?”
Vanessa sighed. “Just… don’t act rashly. The company is planning to invest heavily in her.”
“So what?” Vivienne snapped. “You think I’m scared of that vixen?”
At that moment, the jealousy fully consumed her.
Vanessa smiled faintly unseen.
Let someone else be the knife.
She would simply watch.
Still… Isabella’s recent luck was unsettling.
Precautions would be necessary.
“Where’s Kelsey? Are the props ready?” Phil called out.
“Coming!” the prop master replied, carrying over a hemp rope.
“Perfect,” Phil said, then turned to Jason. “Jace, I’ll need your cooperation.”
“No problem,” Jason replied easily, already lying down on the large carved bed.
Without hesitation, he allowed himself to be bound—arms and legs secured.
Yes.
This scene was… intense.
Natalie, after being rejected, kidnapped the doctor and brought him home.
The female crew members immediately lost their minds.
“AHHH! Jason tied up?! This is my dream!”
“Stop screaming—you’re not the one going up there!”
“Why does it have to be her?!”
“So annoying—she doesn’t deserve him!”
“Ahem!” Phil clapped. “Everyone settle down! Ready—three, two, one… action!”
Isabella transformed instantly.
Her eyes became bright, youthful, alive.
A carefree grin spread across her face as she kicked the door open with one smooth motion.
The camera shifted.
Jason lay on crimson sheets, bound and vulnerable. The stark contrast made him look even more fragile.
At the sound, he slowly opened his eyes.
Through blurred vision, he saw her approaching—light glowing behind her.
She sat casually beside him, pulling out a small oil-paper packet.
“I stood in line for an hour to get these roasted chestnuts. Want some?”
He turned his head away.
Ignored her.
She popped one into her mouth, grin widening.
“Not eating? Then I’ll feed you… in a way that might embarrass you.”
“You—!” he snapped, eyes flying open. “You’re a woman……how can you be so shameless?!”
She tilted her head lazily. “Shame? Can it kill enemies? Can it win you a wife?”
He clenched his jaw. “The Frostman family stands for honor and loyalty. Your ancestors fought for this country….and you spend your days causing trouble? How will you face them?”
She stuffed another chestnut into her mouth, covering her ears dramatically.
“You’re still unmarried at your age. Three forms of unfilial behavior …the worst is having no heirs. How will you face your ancestors?”
He nearly choked from anger.
“That’s not the same thing!”
She stepped closer, whip in hand, tapping it lightly against him before lifting his chin.
Her smile turned sly….mischievous, dangerous.
“Doctor Quinn… How about this? I’ll marry you. Once I do, I’ll listen to everything you say. You want me to be obedient? Done. That way… we both satisfy our ancestors, right?”
He froze.
“You… don’t talk nonsense.”
Her eyes sparkled as she leaned closer…so close their breaths nearly touched.
“Oh? You’re blushing.” She smirked. “You like me, don’t you? Why not skip ahead to the wedding night?”
—
“CUT!”
The entire set groaned internally.
Why stop there?!
They wanted more.
The suite remained deathly silent except for Isabella’s uneven breathing.Alexander sat quietly on the edge of the bed while the girl stayed curled weakly against him, her trembling fingers clutching tightly onto his shirt as though terrified he would disappear the moment she let go.The scarlet rose petals scattered across the white sheets now looked almost ironic.Alexander lowered his gaze toward the top of her head. Her body still trembled from time to time. The drugs hadn’t completely worn off yet.His eyes darkened slightly.“Bella,” he called softly. No response.Only a faint hiccup.Alexander carefully brushed away the damp strands of hair stuck to her tear-stained face. Her swollen red eyes and the slap mark lingering on her cheek made the coldness in his gaze deepen instantly. However, when he spoke again, his voice remained unbelievably gentle.“Can you stand?”Isabella remained silent for a few seconds before giving a tiny nod against his shoulder.Alexander slowly helped
Julian stood lazily by the doorway with the room card still dangling between his fingers. The suite lights were dim.Soft music played quietly in the background while the scent of roses and expensive perfume lingered heavily in the air.“Tsk… Durges really went all out…” he muttered under his breath. The woman on the bed remained motionless.Rose petals were scattered across the sheets and over her body, partially covering the thin silk nightgown clinging tightly to her skin. From where he stood, all he could see clearly were her legs.Long. Pale. Barely concealed beneath the translucent fabric.Julian clicked his tongue.“No wonder that old bastard looked so nervous…”He stepped further into the room casually, intending to take one look before leaving. After all, no matter how beautiful she was, he had no interest in touching a woman another man had prepared.Too troublesome. However, just as he approached the bed, the woman shifted slightly.A weak sound escaped her lips.“Mmh…”Jul
When Isabella walked out of the hospital, it was already late into the night. There were no stars in the sky, and even the moon hid behind layers of dark clouds. Only a few scattered cars moved along the empty streets. She had to admit that although Vanessa’s plan had been crude and reckless, it had still achieved its purpose in the end.Reputation damage.Vanessa always attacked the things Isabella cared about most.Gabriel, for example. Her parents.Sometimes, Isabella even found herself doubting her own existence, wondering if everything truly was her fault. Was she really that unbearable? Was she truly so terrible that everyone around her eventually grew to hate her, despise her, and abandon her?For the first time in a long while, exhaustion seeped into her bones.Even if she eventually achieved all her dreams… even if she climbed to the top someday…Would anyone genuinely care?In the end, she was still alone.Isabella wandered absentmindedly along the roadside, completely lost
Vanessa immediately switched to a bashful expression the moment she saw Gabriel approaching.“It’s because of you…” she complained softly, hitting his chest in a flirtatious manner.Gabriel looked completely helpless. “You were clearly the one seducing me.”Then he lifted the plastic bags in his hands. “I bought chicken porridge for you so you can regain your strength.”Vanessa instantly smiled sweetly. “Thanks, babe.”The next scene began shortly after. It was one of the most important fight scenes in the movie—a confrontation within the bamboo forest between Glinda Clifford and Natalie Frostman.Seeing that Natalie had already completely lost herself to vengeance and could no longer be reasoned with, Glinda finally made her decision. If Natalie continued down this path…Then she had to die here. The martial arts instructor had spent over two hours teaching the two actresses the choreography. By now, both of them were already familiar with the sequence of movements.Originally, Direc
The couple returned to the dressing room with depressed and dejected expressions.Vanessa stood silently in front of Gabriel before a tear slipped down her cheek. Her voice trembled softly, fragile and pitiful.“Baby… do you blame me? Do you blame me for not agreeing to Bella’s request…?”Gabriel’s heart softened instantly. He reached out and gently wiped away the tear at the corner of her eye.“Why would I blame you?”Vanessa immediately threw herself into his arms as though she had just been saved from despair.“Thank you… thank you for believing in me and understanding me. It’s not that I can’t give up the wealth or status of the Hartley family. I just… I can’t leave Mom and Dad behind. The thought of never seeing them again…”Her voice broke halfway through.Gabriel sighed helplessly as he patted her back.“It’s okay. Stop crying. I understand.”His expression darkened slightly as Bella’s cold face surfaced in his mind.“I was too naive. I kept thinking she was still the same girl
At the film set—As soon as Isabella arrived, she was informed that the filming schedule had been changed. The reason was that Jason had suddenly taken leave due to family matters. That guy would complain beside her for half the day over things as insignificant as a fart, yet when something this major happened, he hadn’t mentioned a single word to her?She immediately pulled out her phone and called him.The moment the call connected, Jason’s irritated voice came through.“Why would I tell you about it? Weren’t you the one complaining that I disturbed you too much? Didn’t you tell me to mind my own business? Didn’t you want me to stay as far away from you as possible? Well, congratulations. Your wish has been granted.”Hearing his strange tone, Isabella’s temper instantly rose.“Jason, are you stupid or something? What the fuck did you smoke this early in the morning?”Jason felt extremely stifled inside. He was angry at himself.Angry that he had been so blind and stupid all this tim
Since Saviee was around, Isabella didn’t drink that night. After finishing her meal, she sat by the table, a little bored.“Baby, do you want to play video games over there?” she asked, pointing toward the console.Jason’s face immediately filled with resentment. That was his gaming setup—the one h
Isabella had just dropped her phone when it vibrated again. She glanced at the screen.…Alexander.She let it ring once.Twice.Then picked up.“Hello?”On the other side, his voice came, calm and steady.“The matter doesn’t look solved.”“That’s your opening line?” she muttered, leaning back again
“I didn’t forget my lines!” she screamed. “She did something to me! I swear she did something!”No one answered her.Because at this point—No one believed her.Director Phil’s face had gone completely cold.“Enough.”His voice wasn’t loud, but it cut through everything.“I’ve tolerated a lot from
Because of this brainless girl, Vanessa was close to dying from frustration.“Aren’t you seeing that everyone is starting to sympathize with her because of this incident? Don’t tell me you want her to rise from the ashes and continue acting with Jason?”Vivienne hesitated for a moment, but in the e
