Jake straightens, his voice shifting into that calm, authoritative tone he wears like a bullet proof.

“I don’t want to see a mistake like this repeated,” he tells Mr Diego coldly. “Anything that puts this hotel in a bad position will not be tolerated.”

Mr Diego nods too quickly, sweat glistening at his temple. “Yes, sir. Absolutely. I understand.”

“Replace the fired staff immediately,” Jake adds. “I want competent people. No excuses.”
