The thought

Oliver was so disappointed in his parents that he walked away, leaving the two to dance happily on the money from someone who caused their daughter pain.

Olivia was still lying on the bed. Her fever had broken but then her wounds were healing little by little. Omegas have little strength so their healing power is not as fast as other wolf's and again her body was so weak.

She just wished she had died from everything that happened. Then she wouldn't have the eyes to face the shame that is awaiting her when she gets out of sick bed.

She couldn't but not believe that her hope of getting a friend has been shattered. The only hope of having happiness in her life was ruined. How was she going to cope? Her parents were definitely going to send her to marry that old bereaved.

Her tears wouldn't wouldn't stop falling as she thought about her failed life. She's just so depressed right now. She wanted everything to end.

"Olivia stop crying" Oliver who had entered her room without her noticing said.

Olivia looked at her with a weak look.

"Why am I the rejected one? It's not as if I intentionally became a better Oliver" she asked with a shaky butter voice.

Pain sliced through her brother's heart as he watched her cry. What everyone doesn't know is that Oliver is never happy as they thought he is. The more he sees his twin sister in pain, the more pain he also is but being a man, he hid it.

"It is not your fault Olivia. It is the fault of those that are being wicked to you" Oliver replied.

He wished there's something he could do to correct all these. He wished he had enough resources to take her away from here. Looking at Olivia's pale face, he knew that he shouldn't tell her about Jeremy's visit and how he gave his parents money after only saying two sentences.

"Maybe I should just leave this world so that peace will reign!" Olivia said with a sad smile.

Oliver got alert and he stood up.

"You will do nothing of such" he said with an agitated look.

He then started to search everywhere to see if she had anything that could be used to take her life close. He started picking everything he thought could be used for suicide away from her room.

He fed Olivia with food and petted her until she fell asleep. He didn't even leave her side. He didn't want her to wake up in the morning and take her own life. He stayed in her room. He wasn't even able to sleep.

For four days straight, Oliver took care of his sister but then he had to leave for school. When he left, he made sure to console Olivia with everything he could. He even begged Ariana to watch over her.

After her recovery, she started going to work again. The oppression at work increased on a high level. Every one she passes always has a word of mockery for her.

"Look at the rejected cat."

"Did she think she would have a chance with such a high mighty one as Jeremy Walker?"

" She's just having a nightmare!"

Mockery at every corner. She was just sick and tired of it but then there's nothing she could do about it. It was even through their mockery that she got to know that her parents collected an apology money from Jeremy Walker. She didn't bother to ask them because it would bring more trouble.

"Prepare your bag, Besrael is coming for you tomorrow!" Her father had said to her before she left for work that morning.

She didn't even argue with him. She knew it's of no use. She had been in too much pain these recent days and she was tired of life itself. Her friend Ariana will be having her marking ceremony soon but she wasn't even excited about it. Not that she envied her but she just didn't have a zest for life anymore.

All through the day, she kept imagining her life with the old man. Will it be better than her life of pain? Her life of mockery?

........

"Finally, those visitors who came from the other side of this region will be leaving and our work load will be reduced," one of the maids said happily.

Yes many of the Alpha's friends came to grace the mating party. They had stayed more days to enjoy time with the Alpha. They had all witnessed Olivia's pain and it was really shameful.

"I just wished one of them could take me with him. I heard their place is also a nice place to stay."

" You better stop daydreaming. Even if you sneak in and follow them, they will definitely send you back." The other was mocked.

" What I'm not that bad" she snapped angrily.

Olivia was where she was cleaning listening to them. They were three that were supposed to work, but then they left all the work for Olivia and she didn't complain. Working hard was a distraction to her.

"Well, I heard that their plane will be taking off very early tomorrow morning. So by tomorrow, everyone will return back to their duties."

What the ladies said was ringing in her heart. Mixed with what her father had told her. She didn't even wait for Ariana before she hurried back home. She suddenly felt like a heavy weight was lifted off her shoulder.

An idea then dropped to her heart.

"Run away!"

She sat in her room and started to think. But then she didn't know what place she would run to. But then it was far better than the pain of her family and her pack.

"She took a pen and paper, wrote down two letters. One for her friend, one for her brother. She knew that for her to hear the conversation of the two maids, it was a sign that heaven has not forsaken her.

Just as she finished writing the letter, her mother barged in. Seeing that she folded two papers, she knew she was already saying goodbye.

Besrael lived at the outskirt of the pack and he was never associated with anyone. He is like a lone old wolf, so it is likely for them not to see her for a long time.

"Are you done packing?" She asked her.

Olivia nodded her head. She looked at the bags she packed at the corner of her room and then went back to her mother.
