Katherine’s pov

It was my wolf who woke up first.Through the thick fog in my mind by the alcohol . I had caged her, now that I was unconscious she could come out.

She came out tasting the air. Then her instincts kicked in. Something powerful is here.

She called out for me, her voice urgent. She called until she pulled me out to consciousness. My eyes fluttered open, my body heavy against the unfamiliar mattress. This wasn’t my room at the pack house. I sneaked out to clear my head, that I remembered.

I listened to my wolf.

Then I saw it.

Not silver, not gold.

But red eyes.

They glowed in the dim light like room, it stared at me unblinking.

I froze. My heart kicked hard against my ribs. I jerked upright. I was a foot away from a wolf I didn’t know. His presence was pressing. It dominated. He wasn’t a weak one. My wolf panicked.

My lips moved before I even knew what I was saying. “How… where…” my hands curling on the sheets like they could save me.

He didn’t answer my questions. He just watched me and my inner battle.

Then his voice came. “How will you pay for disturbing my sleep, little wolf?”

The words came and my breath caught.

Then came the rush of memories. I was too drunk to notice that I had entered the wrong room.

“Oh,” I whispered, shame hitting me, my cheeks burned. “I… I’m sorry. I didn’t realize I entered the wrong room.”

I stood up while explaining I was determined to leave before the matter got worse.

Before I could reach the door I heard it.

“Stop.”

The single word was a command and my body obeyed against the will of my mind.

I could hear my heart beating. I tried to reason with him. My voice, low. “I didn’t mean to invade your space. I will leave now.”

One corner of his lips curved up, not quite a smile. “No.” he said quietly. “Not yet.”

The air in the room shifted to something different.

I stood rooted at his command.

And then he stood up in all his glory.

I looked at him with my mouth agape.

He was handsome.

He looked like a god who just walked out from a painting.

I hiccuped.

I was lost. His eyes were now black but it didn’t dim his presence; he was more than an Alpha.

I didn’t know what he was but his presence was overwhelming.

I then noticed he was bare chested, I blushed. His shoulders were broad, his body was toned, I noticed the tattoo that ran from his chest up to his shoulder then down his back. I stood there shamelessly gawking.

His voice brought me back and he repeated in a voice that made my surrender. “ How are you going to pay for disturbing my sleep?”

He walked towards me slowly, I backed up till my back touched the door. He stopped too close to me. We share the same breath.

I felt like my tongue was tired. “I…I… was drunk, I entered the wrong…..”

Before I could finish his hand found me on the floor without effort, he lifted me like I weighed nothing. I froze.

I gasped as he set me on the table and stood in between my legs. For a moment I couldn’t speak, his presence was overwhelming . He stared at me, his gaze fixed.

“You are staring, little one,” he said, his face unreadable. “You are drooling too.”

Before I could move, his lips crashed into mine . He was kissing me fiercely, stealing the air in my lungs.

My wolf who had been quiet protested. Her voice, sharp in my head. This is wrong. We have a mate.

A mate who rejected us.

I shoved her voice to the back of my head, locking her away. Maybe this was it, a stepping stone to moving on too.

I would let myself feel.

I would let this stranger wipe away Kenneth’s touch.

I drew in a trembling breath after he was done kissing me. “Ho… how do you want me to pay?”

His lips curled into a dangerous smile. “The little wolf has courage, doesn’t she?”

He shifted closer, his hand sliding to part my legs more, he stood firm between them. His gaze burned into mine as he leaned in to kiss me, slowly this time. I could feel the heat pulling in between my legs.

I thought for Kenneth’s cold rejection and the knives he had thrown at me the past few days. I kissed this man back with the same hunger he kissed me before.

At that moment I had made my choice.

The kiss deepened. My mind was clouded.

He pulled me closer, his manhood pressed against my heat.

I knew I wasn’t leaving this room the same.

The kiss was fierce before I realized it, his manhood was already touching my heat. My eyes grew glossy under the intensity of his gaze.

“This is how you will pay.”He slammed into me without warning.

I clung onto him tightly, my hand gripping him like my life depended on it. My head tipped back, several gasps leaving my lips, as his mouth traced my collar bone leaving marks and traces.

In one swift motion he lifted me and carried me to the bed without pulling out.My heart pounded in my chest as he raised one of my legs to his shoulders, holding me in place and exploring my insides.

“What is your name, little one?” He asked, his voice cutting through the haze.

I wanted to answer but I couldn’t get my voice out. How did he expect me to talk?

“Tell me!” He commanded. His tone didn’t allow disobedience.

“K… ka.. the.rine,” I stammered breathless.

I could feel something building below my tummy, it kept growing and growing.

The pleasure made my body quirk. I couldn’t hold unto my wolf anymore, she felt it with me.

We both exploded with ecstasy.

I thought he was finished but I was wrong. His eyes said otherwise.

He took me over and over again, his strength never faltering.

I lost count of how many times the stranger took me. My body was no longer my own, it belonged entirely to him.

It wasn’t until there was a hint of dawn until he left me.

Leaving me in exhaustion.

I drifted to sleep.

Ria’s POV When we got out of the car, Zari ran off immediately to go look for my mother. I hesitated, then let my feet carry me toward Rowan’s room. I didn’t knock,I never did. He didn’t mind anyway.“I didn’t see you at school,” I said quietly, wriggling my fingers together.“Hm.” He didn’t look up at first. “I had something to attend to,” he said, before glancing at me over his laptop.I bit my lip. “I didn’t mean to yell at you. I’m sorry.” My voice was softer now, I pouted, hoping he would forgive me quickly.“It’s okay,” Rowan said simply. He closed the laptop and stood, walking toward me. “You were in your feelings.” A small smirk tugged at his lips, the kind that always made me roll my eyes but secretly comforted me.He stopped right in front of me, steady as ever. “You should go speak with your father. The old man is worried.”“Okay.” My answer was small, but I meant it.I wrapped my arms around him, and he hugged me back without hesitation. For all his quietness, Rowan nev

  • THE LYCAN’S OMEGA   Chapter Sixty-Two

Katherine’s POV For the next few days, Ria shut herself out. She wouldn’t talk to Reign, not even a glance in his direction. It hurt him. I knew it did but still, he stood on his decision. It became a silent battle between father and daughter. She wouldn’t tell him goodbye like she used to before leaving for school. She barely touched her food at breakfast, just so she wouldn’t have to sit across from him. Every morning, Reign lingered at the window, his broad frame tense, watching as the car pulled away. The air in the house grew heavy, suffocating. His mood was dark, heavy, and I felt it in every corner of our home. Rowan and I could only watch the distance grow. Today was no different. Ria was already seated in the car, arms folded tight across her chest, waiting for Rowan to join her. Reign stood at the window again, fists clenched, jaw locked. “Is the goddamn party so important?” he hissed, dragging a hand through his hair in frustration. “She’s suffocating, Reign,” I whi

  • THE LYCAN’S OMEGA   Chapter Sixty-One

Reign’s POV When Ria had pointed behind her, I felt it,the presence was so ancient, so mighty, it clawed at my instincts. Not a wolf. Something else. My eyes had dropped to the necklace on her chest, Whoever had returned her… wasn’t ordinary and didn’t know what she was. My mind was spiraling. Thinking of possible reasons why the creature had brought her back to us. But when she called me Papa and opened her arms to me, all that mattered was that she was safe. And the guilt, gods, the guilt dug into me. I had been away. Always away. Busy with meetings, with work. I should have been here. I should have been with them. They were mine to protect. I sat in silence while Katherine fed her. My mate’s hands shook slightly as she cradled Ria, still scared from the thought of almost losing her. When Rowan entered, I saw the guilt in his small eyes, and it broke something in me. My son thought it was his fault. It wasn’t, it is your father’s fault for failing to put you both firs

  • THE LYCAN’S OMEGA   Chapter Sixty

Unknown POV I had wandered into human territory, trying to disappear among them. For centuries I had carried the weight of cursed blood, the pain, the endless whispers of family feud death and betrayal. Tonight, I wanted none of it. Tonight was one of the nights the curse would rip through my veins, the night when I was at my weakest. I always hid myself away during these hours, far from any one who could use my pain against me. Far from their reach, I couldn’t trust anyone. Not even my clan. But fate had its cruel humor. A felt a little tug on my coat. I looked down. A small girl stood there, clutching a doll to her chest. Her eyes were wide, too bright. Wolf. Lycan. “Home,” she said, pouting. Her voice was fragile, shaking, but clear. “I want mama.” Tears brimmed in her little eyes. I narrowed mine. A pup. She smelled of Lycan blood, powerful and untainted. Yet she was lost, just like me. I turned and walked away. I had no time for this. But soft steps followed, her

Katherine’s POV ****Three years later**** After the pups turned one, Reign had an emergency in his company back in the human territory, one that demanded his presence. Just like that, we were gone. I barely had time to say my goodbyes. I hugged my parents, promised we would visit often, but it’s been two years now and we haven’t gone back. Reign has been busy, too busy. He’s hardly home. Zeke came with us, of course, bringing Felicia along. She had just given birth then and he would never have left her behind. She finally made up her mind about having a pup. Reign’s mansion here in Country A was massive, even larger than the one he first brought me to. But it became home, because he was here, and because our children filled it with laughter. That afternoon, I sat in the garden with Felicia. The air was warm, and we talked while the children played. Ria chased after Zariah, Felicia and Zeke’s daughter, their giggles ringing out like music. Rowan was different. At only three y

  • THE LYCAN’S OMEGA   Chapter Fifty-Eight

Reign’s POVThe pups were almost a year old. Katherine had talked me into sending them to the pups academy in the pack even though my beast bristled at the thought. She said it was good for their growth, that they needed independence. I hated them being far but for her, I accepted. She had gone to drop them this morning and returned to training. She had resumed training, she said she needed to be strong, ready to protect her pups. Now she stood in the open court, sparring with Zeke, while a heavily pregnant Felicia watched from the side. When the training ended, Katherine ran up to me,where I leaned on the rail watching, cheeks flushed and eyes bright. My gaze softened as she approached.“I still got it, right?” she asked with a smile.I hummed low, indulgent. “Hmm. You do.”I patted her hair. We walked back to our room. Her life now revolved around our pups, their needs, their future.Once, she had dreamed of being a Gamma for the pack. Fate had shifted her path suddenly, but she ha
