Authors POV

Seth enjoyed the ride with his buddy Carlos, the rubber tyres screeching against the wet roads of the town. He stopped at a pharmacy on their way back to the house, he didn't forget about the drugs that Darcy asked for.

“Honestly I didn't want to remind you about the drugs, I'm wondering how you got to remember this. Are they important to you? I mean they're captives after all.” Carl scoffs, watching Seth handing the list over to the nurse at the counter.

“They're captives. I know that but she has her parents and we need them. Would you want their parents to see their daughter in a bad state?”

“That's not an excuse. Come on this isn't the first time that we're doing this. The last time we did this, I remembered you beating one of our captives to a pulp because she called Scarlet a whore.” Carlos knew that something wasn't right, wondering why he would be taking care of them in this manner.

Captives are meant to be scared and tortured and not taken care of. W
