Farrell's sister

Molly:

A lady entered the room right away. My brows furrowed as I locked my gaze on her. Allowing women into our room was outrageous, and I was about to lash out at Farrell when she spoke up.

“Carlo!” she called out as she walked over to hug him. She buried herself in him, and Farrell remained motionless.

“I see you have made it out of rehab prison once more,” he said, his face hardened.

Then she drew back and smiled oddly. I lay down and watched them without speaking.

“And who is she? Another one of your girly thingies?” She said, pulling away from him and looking at me.

Girlie thingy? This infuriated me, and I tried to keep my rage in check.

“That is my wife, and you should be careful how you address her,” Farell said, gritting his teeth and holding this lady at arm’s length.

I was relieved that he was putting her in her place, but that did not justify her barging into our room. I could not imagine if she had come in two minutes earlier, she would have discovered Farrell’s hands buri
