Chapter 3 - Beat her to death

**JADEN'S APARTMENT**

"I'm here....boss" Lilith muttered as she entered, Jaden's back was against her

"What have you done Lilith?" He asked, smoking at the same time

"I don't understand," Lilith said and Jaden faced her angrily 

"I'm asking you why the h*ll did you kill a clan member!" He snapped

"She said sh*t about me and I lost control of myself" Lilith replied

"So you are saying, once you lose control of yourself you will keep on killing the clan members because of your f**king anger?" Jaden asked

"I did nothing wrong..." Before she couldn't finish, Jaden grabbed her neck and throw her across the room, her back hit the wall and she landed on the floor roughly

Jaden walked to her and held her neck again and pulled her up, pinning her on the wall, her legs hanging in the air

"Should I kill you now? Coz I don't think I can control my anger right now. I'm sparing you this once because the same blood runs through our veins" Jaden said, pinning her more on the wall, the cigarette fire burning Lilith's neck but she didn't have any sign of pain on her face

"I'm sorry...boss" She managed to speak up

Jaden threw her on the floor and she stood up gently

"You know the rules, Lilith, you can't hurt anyone here unless it's a punishment, but she did nothing....."

"I never knew she was going to die, I'm sorry," Lilith said

"Get out" Jaden snapped

She bowed and walked out of the suite immediately, clenching her fists, she was boiling with serious anger. She was praying inwardly that nobody pats her on the way or it was going to be another story entirely.

Lilith lean behind one of the walls of the corridor, she was finding it hard to get out her recent moment with Jaden from her mind. She touched the red spot on her neck, it was beginning to sting badly but she didn't care. Amongst her two brothers, Jaden is the one she fears the most, even as children she was always scared of him, but she still loves him just the way she loves Jayden because she knows no matter how cold he's, there's this soft spot in him.

She brought out a cigarette and a lighter, she lights it up and sat down, smoking. 

It was silent in the empire already, aside from the people on the night shift, walking around, ready to attack any enemy who comes in. 

"Hey" Idris sat down beside her

"Are you okay?" Idris asked

Lilith didn't move nor look at him, she only kept on smoking while staring at nothing in particular. 

"I....."

"Give it a rest dude" Lilith snapped and stood up, She dropped the half cigarette on the ground and matched it with her shoe before walking away

Idris runs his hand through his hair, why must she snub him anything he tries to talk to her?

ATHENA'S ROOM**

Athena lies on the bed watching every move of Echo, even though everyone has a separate room, these two decided to share one. 

"Do you feel sorry for the new girl? I kinda felt bad earlier" Echo said

"That wouldn't change the fact that her father was a f**ked up human being" Athena scoffed

"That's right, but she was looking so innocent" Echo sighed

"Snakes always look innocent," Athena said and Echo snitched her nose

"You don't trust anyone at all do you?" She said

"The only person I trust is you, I don't even trust myself," Athena said and Echo laughed

Echo started taking off her clothes

"Are you going to take your bath? You were looking drunk earlier" Athena muttered, her eyes roaming all over Echo's body

"I was just a little bit tipsy, not drunk" Echo replied and Athena nodded, she suddenly gasped

"F**k sh*t," She said and jumped down from the bed

"What's wrong?" Echo asked

"I should be in the power room" Athena immediately grabbed a cap and rushed out of the room. 

"It's boring without her" Echo sighed and went into the bathroom

Athena met Lilith also about going into the power room, and they both entered together.

Scarlett was inside already staring at the number of spying TVs placed by the wall,

"The mob is still empty?" Athena asked the moment they entered

"How about the tracker??" Lilith asked in her low voice

"Not on yet, I'm very sure Enzo is not in Italy, if he is then Lord Jaden wouldn't waste any more time before he makes him a dead man," Athena said, tucking her hands into her pockets

"We should keep an eye on Gunner too, that dude is smart. If he gets the deal before us then be ready for godfather himself" Scarlett said

They all sat there for a while, no sign at all

Scarlett stood up

"Athena will be watching the whole night," She said in an ordered tone

Athena looked up immediately

"Don't worry, you can go. I will do the night watch" Lilith said in a mutter

"Hey S for Silencer, I make the orders here and you have no right to go against me...."

"You should go," Lilith said, ignoring Scarlett

"Are you f**king serious right now? You know you've been getting on my nerves lately right?" 

Lilith stood up 

"So what are you gonna do?? I'm f**king asking you what the h*ll you can do" Lilith said and Scarlett released a punch on her face which Lilith returned instantly

She removed a combat knife from her back pocket immediately, charging toward Scarlett again

Athena didn't move, she stood there watching with her hands in her pocket 

Before Lilith could stab Scarlett, she removed the pin in her hair and stabbed Lilith's arm with it, the blood started rushing out immediately. 

Lilith ignored the pain and grabbed her by the neck and pushed her against the wall, she raised the knife in her hand ready to stab but the door opened all of a sudden, and Elias came in

"Hey Lilith" He rushed to them and held Lilith's hand

She didn't move, she kept on glaring at Scarlett while breathing heavily 

"That's enough," Elias said

Lilith released Scarlett who was also glaring at her

She pushed Lilith off and stormed out of the room

"I'm off" Athena muttered and left

"What are you doing here?" Lilith asked as she sat down in front of the laptop

"I didn't plan to meet you here, don't worry, I can spend hours without talking to anyone" Elias muttered and also sat down

Lilith rolled her eyes, she removed her headband and tie it around her bloody arm.

"Does it hurt?" Elias asked

"You said you can spend hours without talking, keep your promise" Lilith muttered

DARK ROOM**

Valerie opened her eyes slowly and let out a groan, she was still weak. She touched her chest and was shocked to see a hoodie on her.

'How did it get there?' She thought

But when she remembered what happened to her last night, tears came rolling down her eyes

Her tummy made a loud noise and she grabbed it, that's right, she's hungry. It's almost forty-eight hours since she last tasted anything, she's f**king hungry and thirsty at the same time. 

She got up from the ground and walked toward the door almost dragging her feet, she could hardly walk. The pain she was feeling in her vagina was something to write about, but nevertheless, she was so hungry that she might not last for another minute

She managed to open the door and she went out and started walking to only God knows

Some maids passed by her and started murmuring

" Why the h*ll is she looking like that?..."

" So ugly..."

"She even stinks..."

Valerie didn't mind, of course, she would stink and she was going to look awful too. Her hair was all scattered, with dry lips, and black face due to the excessive tears. Dry blood all over her thighs, but how the h*ll will she take her bath when the room she was kept In is like a place where animals are kept? 

She continue walking like a ghost without location until her nose caught the smell of fried chicken, exactly her weakness. Chicken is her best friend

When a person treated like a princess suddenly becomes a slave, it's a total depression. By this time, her maids would have prepared her meal, the only thing she does is wake up, do her morning routine and eat, then go to school. But not anymore, she's not that Valerie anymore, not the princess, she's now a slave, slave Valerie. 

 Immediately she turned toward the direction and started tracing the smell. Mysteriously there was no one around, she decided to ignore the hunger and escape from this hell and the devil inside.

She found her way to the store room and was about to open the window to the store room, where she planned on jumping down to escape not minding the risk, just when she was about to jump when two hands grabbed her

"Are you trying to escape here?" One of the boys holding her asked, looking at her face

"How dare you try to escape? Do you want to put us in trouble?!" The second one yelled 

Valerie couldn't talk

Immediately the guys started dragging her out, she swallowed nothing in a hard way scared of what the devil might do to her

"Please let me go, I'm never going to try it again " Valerie cries

"Shut up, when you get to the boss, you can explain yourself" 

Her eyes widened

Boss? In another word, the devil? Then she should prepare for her death because there's no how that devil will spare her life

******

JADEN'S OFFICE**

Jaden was sitting in his office looking exhausted from the operation he just returned from, he began hearing some noise

"What's going on?" he wondered

Jaden kept mute, not caring until the knock came on his door and he looked up

"Who's there?" Jaden asked and immediately a guy entered

"Boss, Harper's daughter tried to escape, we caught her red-handed" The guy explained

Jaden looked up swiftly and stood up, he followed the guy out and they met Valerie outside, she was on her knee, another guy holding her down

Valerie was shaking, her eyes on the ground, she wouldn't dare look up

"What the h*ll did I hear you did? So you have been faking to be innocent right?" Jaden asked

"Hey look up," he said and Valerie looked up In fear, but the moment she saw Jaden, she looked down again

"We brought her here because those who cross boundaries are meant to be punished," one of the guys said

"Are you tired already?" Jaden smirked 

"What should we do to her?" one of the guys asked

Valerie looked up as if waiting for his judgment 

Jaden also looked at her, his dark eyes filled with evil and hatred and he dropped the bomb

"Beat her to death," He said coldly and went in without waiting 

TORTURE ROOM**

Valerie's screams filled the whole place as two boys whipped her badly, her mouth was already filled with blood but they didn't stop since it was an order from Jaden.

Valerie became quiet after some minutes, it became hard to scream out, she had become too weak for that, she just allowed the tears to flow down her cheeks freely, the type of pain she was feeling on her back, she was sure her back is badly peeled already. 

She was losing hope, maybe this is going to be the end for her, but still, even though the pain was too much to bear, she want to live. She doesn't want to give up so soon

'Someone......help.....please' she cried inwardly

Suddenly the door opened and a guard entered

"Stop! It's an order from the boss!" He said out loud and the boys whipping Valerie dropped their hands at once before facing him

"What order?" One of them asked

"Enough of the beating" 

Valerie didn't know maybe to smile or cry but seriously there was nothing to smile about, still, she was hoping the pain wouldn't eventually kill her because it was becoming unbearable.

'Thank you, devil' she said inwardly before losing consciousness

The boys rushed to her immediately

"Is she dead?" 

"No, she's breathing. What should we do to her now?" 

"The boss said she should be taken to madam Zuna, he also ordered that she shouldn't be taken to the doctor, you should hurry up," The guard said before turning his back and walking out of the torture room

One of the boys carried Valerie's unconscious body out, she was dripping in blood.
