Ariana stilled looking at the man in front of her, he was so close to her, his hands placed on the table locking her between in arms. Even with the dark glasses, Ariana could still feel his strong gaze on her, his face not holding any emotions. It was difficult to know what he was thinking or even feeling at this moment.

There was something about the way this man smelt and looked that got her mesmerized, as much as she wanted to look away and yell at this man for getting in her personal space her brain didn’t just cooperate with her. Aiden just stared at her, not making any movement. Dingg!!! Ariana’s phone rang breaking the trance between them, Ariana cleared her throat as she looked away to where her phone was lying. Aiden too looked away taking steps backwards to let her move to her phone.

She walked to the table and grabbed her phone placing it in her ears. “Oh, Alright. Thank you Lora have a wonderful night”. Ariana said calm even though her heart was still racing. Placing the phone back on the table she took a deep breath before she turned back to the man. “Lora had made the transfer”. She said with a smile.

“Okay”, Aiden nodded as he headed towards the door, Ariana walking behind him. They walked in silence, “I will be in the next room if you need anything just call”. Aiden said, before he stepped out of the room.

“Alright, thank you and good night”. Ariana said but he was already walking away, what a weirdo. Ariana said to herself and closed the door.

She had booked a room for him in the hotel, since he was her driver and she was in mood to drive, she had his stay in the hotel because she had somewhere to be the next morning, she would definitely run late if she waited for him to arrive from his house to the hotel in the morning.

She wore her blue pajamas, fixed her hair in two braids. She didn’t like her hair moving on her face as she slept, so she preferred to fix it in a braid to keep it away from her face. Climbing into her big bed she scrolled through her phone for a while before her eyes were already giving up. Placing her phone in the cupboard. She tucked herself in her big blanket and laid her head on the soft pillow, it only took few seconds for sleep to overtake her.

Meanwhile in Aiden’s room, he was wearing his black trousers and nothing more. His broad arms moved as he lifted the cigarette to his lips, taking a deep drew. His chair was facing the large window in his room, his eyes roamed the view of the city. His phone buzzed and he placed it in his ear. “Get to work”. His deep voice echoed in the room as he threw the phone onto the bed, the thick smoke from the cigarette escaped his thin lips at his eyes darkened.

Ariana opened her eyes, rubbing it with the back of her palm, she was still so sleepy, stretching her arm to the night stand, she turned on her phone to look at the time and it was 6:00am on the dot. Wonderful she said to herself, she was supposed to be out of here by seven so basically she still had an hour to lazy around. Yawning loudly, she stood up from her bed and walked to the restroom.

Her hair was now all over the place, it looked like a squirrel had a fight on her hair. She smoothened it with her fingers, looking at herself in the mirror, she sighed. After a while she was done brushing and was now wiping her face with a small towel.

Normally the hotel served breakfast by 7:00am, so she would just have coffee and a pack of cookies which was kept in the cupboard by the hotel management. She walked back to the kitchen where she placed a cup to pour herself a cup of coffee, picking the pack of cookies she walked to the living room and sat down placing the cup on the table and the cookies on her lap.

And just then her phone began ringing, picking the call she placed the call on speaker.

“Why the hell are you calling me this early?” Ariana said with a smile, as she faked vexing.

“Oh my goodness, you ungrateful girl. Do you know how many times you’ve woken me up from my beauty dreams to tell me about nothing important?”. Her friend said almost screaming from the receiver.

“You are too loud April, I am pretty sure your neighbors are going to sue your ass one day”. Ariana said and she heard her friend laugh.

“Whatever Ari, my husband and I discussed about something yesterday and guess what?” April said in excitement.

“How am I supposed to guess? I don’t even know what we are talking about here?” Ariana said as she threw a piece of cookies in her mouth

“You are so boring, go get a boyfriend Ariana so you would be less boring”. April spoke.

“Do we always have to talk about this? Just let it out already.” Ariana said almost begging.

“Whatever, Anyways my husband agreed to let me visit you next week.” April said happily.

“Oh my gosh!! That’s wonderful news April after so long”. Joy filling Ariana’s voice.

“I know right. I can’t wait to see you, we definitely gonna have a lot of fun. We partying all night long till we get your ass a boyfriend”. April said playfully.

“Arghhh, please April, no parties and besides you’re married now, so behave yourself”. Ariana advised

“And who said married woman couldn’t have fun and party, no body Ari, so don’t worry about it. Bills on me.”

“Of course, I won’t waste my money on parties on drinks”. Ariana said munching on the cookies

“And yeah, I heard the nighttime casino was bought yesterday, but no one knows who the buyer is”. April said now sounding serious.

“Oh really, isn’t that like the biggest casino in town?” Ariana couldn’t help but wonder who had that much money to buy the casino, the casino had always been owned by joint partners, but now been bought by a person. That person must be filthy rich.
