“$10,000” Ariana’s eyes almost bulged out of its socket as she heard the figure he called. “What the hell?” She said

“I am joking, calm down. I will take any amount you pay me” He said watching her with amusement.

“Oh, you must sure be a joker, what if I decide to pay you $100?” Ariana asked

“We both know, you won’t what to do that, and I know you worth more than that” He answered.

“Yes I am worth more than that, so how about we start from $4,000” She asked, wanting to read the man’s expression but he kept a blank expression.

“We can work with that for now miss” Aiden said, his arms now crossed on his chest.

“Okay, do we have a deal?” She asked, extending her hand forward for a handshake.

He felt his eyes move from her face to her slender hand and then back to her face, “Deal” He said taking her hand into a handshake. His grip was strong but not strong enough to crush her hand, he was gentle in a way. She pulled away after she noticed they just stared at each other holding hands.

“And there’s one rule I have amongst my staffs, keep personal things away from work” She said causing the man to nod in a agreement.

“Where is the car key?” Aiden asked, looking at her. Placing the key from the table she tossed it towards him.

“Lora will give you some documents to sign when you leave here, please ensure to sign them” She said looking at him.

“Okay ma’am, I will see you later” With that, he stood up and walked out the office.

The need to talk to someone just came to her and she immediately opened her laptop and FaceTimed her friend, after two rings she picked up, her blonde hair was messy as she appeared in front of the screen, she had a sleeveless blue shirt one and it was pretty obvious she had just woken up.

“Ari, what the hell girl? It’s like 4am” April complained as she ran her hands in her hair to make it presentable.

“So sorry for calling so early but it’s actually 10am here” Ariana said smiling

“Yeah yeah, whatever. What’s up? You look happy, have you gotten yourself a sexy boyfriend?” She asked causing Ariana to roll her eyes.

“God April, what is you and a sexy boyfriends? And no what will be doing with a sexy boyfriend? You know I have no time fo that” Ariana explained.

“We need to take you to church on Sunday Ari, you have to be delivered, learn from me so find yourself a sexy boyfriend and keep him till you’re bored” April said proudly.

“Do not let Scott here that, what do you mean by bored? You are married idiot it’s a life time argument” Ariana advised.

“Coming from the unmarried marriage counselor, who can’t find herself a boyfriend soon.” April mocked.

“Whatever April, by the way where is scott?” Ariana asked.

“Scott had emergency call yesterday so he had to rush to the hospital and I have been alone since last night” She said faking a sad face.

“Get out of here” They both laughed. “Please give Scott some breathing space, why don’t you go out? Shopping? Restaurant? Spa?” Ariana suggested.

“Well, it’s still so early, I will think about it in the morning. So what’s up? How’s work?” April asked.

“Work is all good, LA is boring as usual” Ariana said

“Sweetheart, LA isn’t boring, you are boring. Wear a slutty dress, go to a 5 star club and shake some ass. Then you will thank me later” April said again proudly

“How did you get married to Scott again?” Ariana asked and April laughed. “Just forget about that, you know I will never do,”

“Yeah yeah, you know know what I am done with you, stay single for the rest of your life. But just know I will drag you face down on the floor when I see you” April threatened.

“Then I will sue your ass, just try me” Ariana smiled.

“Sweetheart, it seems you have forgotten i am a family full of lawyers and attorneys, so you don’t stand any chance” April smirked.

“I am sorry your highness, forgive me poor ass” Ariana pleaded playfully.

“You are forgiven, so what’s going on with you?” April asked.

“Everything is going good, Dane left some days ago for personal business now I had to employ another one today”

“ oh really? Poor Ari but tell me you didn’t hire an old looking butler as a driver” She asked her friend.

“ No I didn’t, it’s actually a young man.” Ariana stayed with her fingers tapping the table

“Now please tell me he is good looking,” April begged with her hands joined together.

“Well, he is okay, not bad at all” Ariana said, with a smile.

“How sad, but I can’t judge your ratings, I would have to see him for my self then I will conclude, because I know you been used to seeing boring men so you might not know what’s interesting” She winked at her friend.

“Whatever April, I have a meeting in thirty minutes as dad’s office, I need to be on the way” Ariana announced

“Alright sweetheart, I will call you later, it’s almost 5am. You owe me $10,000 for cutting my beauty sleep short” April frowned at her friend.

“$10,000? You damned thief! Be quick with your honeymoon and get your pretty ass back to LA” Ariana said

“Oh isn’t this lovely? You miss me? I miss you too sweetheart,” April smiled sweetly.

“Of course I miss you, no one to help me cook now I have to go out and pay for food”

“Not me thinking you genuinely miss me, but it’s because of my food. Go learn to cook idiot, have a lovely day. Bye.” April said blowing kisses to Ariana through the screeen.

“Have a nice day April,” Ariana returned the kisses and ended the call, now she was feeling better , with that she gathered her things placing them in the bag at the walked outside her office.
