Interview

Ariana looked at the city from the view her window displayed right in her office. Los Angelos h very busy place it was just half past nine and everywhere was so filled with people going on with their daily businesses. And here she was again in her office like usual, every day with the same routine. She sighed, what a boring life this was. She had the money to do whatever she wanted and so she used to think it was more that enough for her but as years went by, she realized money couldn’t give her what she wanted in life.

Although she had been to more than forty different countries, over a hundred 5 star hostels and restaurants in the world, and she bought the most expensive designers clothes, shoes, bag and jewelries but it wasn’t still enough. She never had a true friend until two years ago when she met April, they have been very close back then and they still were but April had gotten married some months ago and moved to a new country with her husband. At the end of the day everyone had their life to live. That was the sad reality that Ariana had come to see.

Her big doors swung open as her personal assistant walked into the office. “Ma’am, the new driver is here. He’s waiting downstairs” Lora announced looking at the back figure of her boss.

“Send him in,” Ariana said without turning to look at her personal assistant

“Okay ma’am” With that Lora walked out of the office closing the door gently behind her.

With a loud sigh, she turned around to look at the mirror by her side, she had a pair of blue long pants and a white long sleeves t shirt. Her black hair in a high pony tail, and just a light makeup on her face. She looked good, she said to herself and walked over to her chair and sat down waiting for her new driver to arrive.

It was already ten minutes later, she raised her hand to look at her watch. She didn’t like waiting for people especially if it was her employees. Picking up her phone she was about to call her PA when the door suddenly opened and Lora walked in with someone walking behind her.

“What kept you so long? You know I don’t have the patience to wait for anyone? Ariana scolded her personal assistant but her eyes didn’t miss the smirk that appeared on the man’s face and almost immediately it was gone. Her eyes moved to the man, and she was almost speechless. He was dressed in black pants and shirt with a black leather jacket, his brown hair was styled neatly and he had a pair of black shades on. He looked too good to be a driver

“I am sorry ma’am, there was something I had to attend to” Lora said adjusting her glasses.

“Alright, so who is he?” Ariana asked as she looked at the man from head to toe, he was really huge and tall, compared to Lora who was standing in front of him, he was really huge.

“He is the new driver,” Lora said almost immediately placing a file on the Ariana’s table.

“Hmm,..” Her eyes trailed to the file on the table and she picked up to file and flipped through the pages her eyes scanning every word. “You can leave Lora” she said

“Okay ma’am”, Lora turned around and walked towards the door, closing it behind her.

The room went silent after Lora left, her eyes were on the file while the man’s eyes were on Ariana.

“Sit Mr...Aiden” Ariana finally said looking at the man. He moved towards the chair in front of her and sat down resting his arms on the arm rest. For someone who was here for an interview was way too relaxed, Ariana said to herself. “So tell me about yourself Mr Aiden” she asked.

“What do you want to know about me miss? Everything is boldly written in the file” His voice calm and deep.

“You....” and again she was utterly speechless, how dared this man talk to her like that. She frowned. “Mr Aiden, I am not here to play, you better get serious. And do away with the shades, I want to see your face” She commanded.

A smirk appeared on the man’s lips, “Are you sure miss?” He asked as if he was making sure if she knew what she was saying.

“Yes, take it off now” She said, her voice a little louder than usual.

“Okay” He said, and slowly, he reached to the shades and pulled off steadily, his eyes were closed as the shades left his eyes, and he opened his eyes, immediately holding her eyes in his.

The room went silent once again, Ariana had been uttered speechless for the third time in not less than an hour, he had the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen. Light grey eyes, and they shone as he moved him eyes around, and she felt herself swimming in those gorgeous eyes of him, forcing her eyes to leave his eyes. Her eyes moved to his pointed nose and elegant thin lips, his high cheekbones stood out in the face. He was truly perfectly sculpted by the creator Himself.

“Staring is rude miss” His smirk now widely appearing on his lips, his voice distracted her from her embarrassing stare. She immediately looked away to hide her embarrassed face.

From the side of her eyes she saw wear his shades back and she was thankful for that, she had already made a fool of herself. She cleared her throat and look back at him. “Why do you think I should employ you Mr Aiden” she asked trying to calm her nerves.

“You have no other candidate and just like in the file, you saw I have experience in driving, safely and I know the town pretty well” He said confidently.

“And how much would you like to be paid?” She asked him.

“$10,000” He answered and Ariana’s eyes almost bulged out at the statement he made.
