Ethan’s POV“I will call you back, Devon. Please give me a minute.” I say, not waiting for his response, before hanging up. I can’t leave him on the call while I’m trying to sort through my thoughts. Okay, Jason, think. We have so much to do but we will handle each of them one at a time. I will deal with everything individually. First, I will save my mate and then, I will figure everything else out. I considered calling Damon but that will lead to more questions and I am not ready for that or worse it will start a war. Ethan’s POV“Wakey wakey, Sunshine! We are here for round two!” The guy shouts, strolling in with two other guys behind him. The three of them snickering like little kids. I am totally certain that this is not Mason and when I am ready, I will beat him to a pulp. For now, I keep my head slouched to look weak and tired. “Today, I brought two friends to make our session today so much more fun. Do you like that?” He asks, when I don’t answer him, he grips my face and responds comically on my behalf. “Yes, Sir.”His hand on my face gives me the perfect advantage. I swing myself with the rope used to hold me to the ceiling and I keep him in the balls. I apply more force and I drag my hands from the ropes holding me to the ceiling. Instead of my hands being released, the rope cuts and I fall to the ground. Luckily, my legs are not tied so I am quick to regain a fighting stance. The sound of talking catches my attention. “You can not be in here. Get out! I am handling him well on my own.” Brianna shouts at someone. “If you were handling it well, then he would either be dead or partially alive on his way to the king and this village would be burnt to the ground. You are not competent enough. You both are not competent enough!!!” The male voice shouts. “You had who we needed in your hands but your jealousy got in the way. I wonder if the Master will be pleased to hear that. He may be forgiving and generous but he does not play around with his things and his plans.”“I don’t care what you think.
