20. THE KISS

STANLEY’S POV

The thought of losing Petals or her getting hurt was driving me crazy so bad that I wanted to call on the entire security team to have her found in seconds but the team members kept reassuring me that she would be fine.

Pamela went in to check if she was back before us and it was then she found her phone lying on the sink in the bathroom.

“Petals! You are so frustrating” I gritted between my teeth as I held unto her phone

I was thankful that the mountain had no wild animals because it was reserved for our family so I was sure that she won’t be a prey to any animals and the chance of her falling is low since it’s not steep.

“Let’s all go towards her direction and see if we can find her before the sun goes down” I commanded and we all started the journey.

After walking for thirty minutes and screaming her name every now and then, we finally saw a help signal flying high in the bush.

“Isn’t that where she is? That’s the help flag” Pamela called our attention to it and we en
