Meanwhile back home…

Detective Michael Lewis posed in his cubicle chair while he stared out into space while he played with a pen with his fingers as he mulled over what he was doing wrong with Christina's case. It's been four long months that he has been looking for her without any leads. It's like she had vanished on the face of the earth as he did not know her new hideaway.

"Detective Lewis, detective?" A female voice echoed at a distance in Micheal's ears. Suddenly a soft gentle hand jerked him by the shoulder then he immediately flinched his body and perked up to see who shook him from his deep thoughts. As his eyes shifted upwards, he caught a glimpse of chief Smith's diamond-studded engagement ring on her ring finger.

"Well, that's definitely new. Congratulations are in order. Who is the lucky man" He inquired with a frown on his face as he swabbed the ring with his pen.

"Thank you and the man in question is the DEA boss." She answered with a bright crimson smile on her face.
