THE CUSTODY BATTLE

ROWAN’S POV

Gabe’s custody papers felt like a knife to my heart, threatening the family I’d fought so hard to rebuild.

The hospital room was quiet, Ivy cradling our newborn son, her green eyes heavy with exhaustion but fierce with love, her arm still bandaged from Bella’s shot.

Noah slept nearby, safe after Bella’s gun to his head, but Gabe’s demand for a custody hearing loomed, his lies about changing cutting deep.

My shoulder throbbed, blood seeping through the bandage from the estate fight, but Ivy’s ring on her finger, her touch, kept me grounded.

Bella was still out there, her vow of revenge chilling, and I’d do anything to protect my family.

I grabbed my phone, dialing my lawyer, Victoria, my voice low. “Hire the best,” I said, pacing the room. “Gabe’s not getting near our son.” Ivy’s eyes met mine, grateful but scared, and I knelt beside her, my hand on her cheek, my lips brushing her forehead.

THE HUNT FOR BELLA IVY’S POV Gabe’s escape reignited my fear, his note—“I’ll stop Bella, but you owe me”—a riddle that could either save us or doom us as we hunted Bella. The warehouse was dark, the drone’s package which was more of a scare than a than a threat to us, and Ethan’s small body clung to me, his warmth grounding me. My arm throbbed from Bella’s shot, my body weak from my earlier collapse, but Noah’s safety and the Kelly documents we’d fought for burned in my mind. Rowan’s gray eyes blazed with fury, he looked like an angry god of war, his hand gripping mine, his ring on my finger anchoring me in the chaos. I can't believe I actually let myself feel something for Gabe. He was the most confusing man I ever met. But I guess all the blame cannot be placed on me considering the fact that he was there during my lowest and I allowed my emotions to over shadow my better judgement. “We’re tracking Gabe,” Rowan said, his voice rough, checking his phone’s signal. “He’s

THE TICKING THREAT ROWAN’S POV The package’s ominous ticking froze my blood as I shielded Ivy and Ethan, I didn't want to believe that what I thought it was, was actually in the box. But Bella’s threat and Gabe's warning of a final trap just had my defenses up knowing who Bella was. The airfield was dark, the drone’s hum fading above, and Ivy clutched Ethan, her green eyes wide with terror, her blonde hair tangled from the chaos. My side throbbed from the forest ambush, but thankfully, blood wasn't seeping through the bandage, but fear for Noah, who was supposed to be under protection, and Ethan in Ivy’s arms drove me. Gabe’s betrayal—stealing Ethan, forging the Kelly documents—burned, and Bella’s plan, still in motion despite her arrest, chilled me. I gripped Ivy’s hand, her ring glinting, her love anchoring me in the storm. “Get down!” I shouted, kicking the package away, diving to cover Ivy and Ethan. It exploded in the distance, a harmless blast of smoke, but my heart p

THE FINAL BETRAYAL IVY’S POV Gabe’s text about taking Ethan sent panic through me, his betrayal cutting deeper than Bella’s burning my building. Though it wasn't the first time. The safe house was quiet, the singed designs from my Atelier clutched in my hands, their survival a small victory after the showroom explosion. My arm throbbed from Bella’s shot, my hands filled with blisters and my body weak from all stress, but fear for Ethan—my baby, supposedly safe with Sarah—burned hottest. Rowan’s gray eyes blazed with fury, his side bandaged from the forest ambush, his phone glowing with Gabe’s message. Bella was in custody, but her final trap loomed, and Gabe’s words chilled me. I gripped Rowan’s hand, my ring glinting, his love anchoring me in the chaos. “We’re finding him,” Rowan growled, his voice rough, already tracking Gabe’s phone. “He’s not taking Ethan.” His protectiveness ignited me, and I nodded, brushing my blonde hair back, my heart pounding. I wanted to go on

INFERNO OF VENGEANCE Rowan’s POV Flames engulfed Ivy’s Atelier, Bella’s silhouette a ghost in the fire, and I pulled Ivy to safety, my heart pounding. The showroom roared with heat, glass shattering from the explosion, and Ivy’s green eyes widened with terror, her blonde hair singed, her arm still scarred from Bella’s shot. My side throbbed from the forest ambush, blood seeping through the bandage, but fear for Noah and Ethan, and Ivy’s weakening state from her collapse, drove me. Bella’s sabotage and Gabe’s shaky loyalty burned in my mind, and I gripped Ivy’s hand, her ring glinting, her love anchoring me in the chaos. “Stay back!” I shouted, shielding her from the flames, my voice rough. Firefighters swarmed, hoses blasting, but I spotted Bella slipping through a back exit, her shadow darting. Rage surged, and I turned to Ivy, my hand on her cheek, her eyes fierce despite the smoke. “I’m going after her,” I said, my voice low, my gun ready. Ivy grabbed my arm, her voice

A RACE AGAINST FATE ROWAN’S POV Ivy’s collapse stopped my heart, her limp form in my arms driving me to the edge of despair. Her green eyes had fluttered shut, her blonde hair spilling across my chest as I caught her, the safe house silent after our tender night together. My side throbbed from the forest ambush, blood seeping through the bandage, but fear for Ivy—weak from Ethan’s birth, her arm scarred from Bella’s shot—burned hotter. Noah and Ethan were safe, but Bella’s plan to sabotage Ivy’s Atelier and Maddox’s lies against my company loomed, Gabe’s warning of her final strike echoing. I clutched her, my ring on her finger glinting, her love my anchor in the chaos. Despite that, it seemed like everything I do is in a way, wasted efforts. Because why was Ivy always getting into problems like this. “Ivy, stay with me!” I shouted, my voice cracking, carrying her to the car, my heart pounding. Cole sped us to the hospital, my hand gripping hers, her pulse faint. “You’r
