5: THE MAN WHO DON'T KNOW HOW TO KISS

Shia left her in the pool of wildly dancing people.

After they entered the door, the loud beat of electric yet sensual music overwhelmed Eve’s ears. This music was just too different from the classical pieces of her ballet music.

Listening to this type of music felt like awakening something sleeping inside her body. it urged her to dance. To shake and sway her body like these people inside the bar.

Yet, instead of doing so, she was there standing like a post or a frozen statue. She neither can move as she was intimidated by these wild people. Wild and free. An exact epitome of her dreams.

“Get it together, Eve!” she scolded herself, gripping at the hem or her dress. “You need to do this to avoid that d*mned marriage. Plus, this is your dream, right? To dance wild and free without your father’s constraints?”

For her, it’s better to raise a child alone than to get married with someone like her father who didn’t value his wife.

Eve jumped on her feet when suddenly, she felt someone’s hand groping into her belly. Her first instinct was to kick that man straight to his face but when realization hit her, Eve turned around with a smile on her lips.

She was welcomed by a hunk man who’s face instantly indicated his experience. His well-brushed hair which was dismantled by perhaps a playful tugging of some coquet and his two button’s down shirt.

Even the way he licked his lips upon brushing Eve’s appearance was screaming he had done it a thousand times.

“hey!” was Eve’s almost shaking voice. still, she managed to keep her cool.

“Aren’t you a beautiful lady? Want to grab some drink?”

Eve didn’t decline his offer and immediately let him lead the way. The man didn’t even release his tight grip on her waist as the walked through the crowd that it was becoming more uncomfortable for Eve.

Still, with her lack of experience, she assumed its just one of the normal things that happen in places like this. besides, she managed to endure all the things her father made her do even she disliked it so much. Why can’t she do more?

“What do drink do you want?” the man asked as they sat on the stools in the counter.

“Hmm… Any light drinks will do.”

“One margarita and a Cointreau,” he told the bartender without evn looking at him.

Instead, the man’s eyes were glued to Eve only. It’s as if, he’s looking at a prey he couldn’t wait to devour. A stare Eve wasn’t used to and it made her nervous for some reason. It made her want to back out that she knew she needed a drink.

She kept her eyes on the busy dancefloor where every now and then, Shia’s yell was heard though the place was really huge.

“I am Oliver Lynron, second son of the Lynron Corporation’s president.” Acting like a gentleman, the man introduced with an overflowing confidence that made Eve want to roll her eyes.

‘Just some mere second son of Lynron Corporation and he’s acting all cocky. Where does he got his confidence from?’ Eve was wondering as she looked at the man.

“Oh. A son of a rich family!” Eve blurted, acting surprised and amzed which only boosted the man’s cockiness that his smile reached the sky.

“What about you?” Oliver asked, with intense eyes at her.

“Not worth to mention. My name’s Eve and my father is an owner of a small company that deliver’s oil. That’s all.”

“Oh.” He sounded disappointed which made Eve grinned deep inside.

She didn’t lie that her father was delivering oil but it was no truth that it’s JUST a small company. Throughout the city, their corporation was the number two in oil shipment that delivers oil in many countries.

Thus, making her father no joke.

“That’s fine, too. at least you’ve got something you’re proud of,” he said, making Eve glance at him.

And for Pete’s sake, he was staring at her chest!

This time, Eve decided that this man wasn’t someone she will consider to be the father of her child. She already planned that after taking a small sip, she will invite this a**hole to the dancefloor and disappear within the crowd.

She pretended pleased with his statement, laughing and thankfully, their drink came.

Oliver stared at the bartender while receiving the glasses and to Eve’s suspicion, the two nodded at each other. she found it odd since their stares looked as if it meant something, but then, she just couldn’t guess what it is.

Oliver gave her drink that she took a sip with.

     “Are you…alone?”

With his sudden question, Eve was halted.

She glanced at him with intent stares, trying to decipher his thoughts.

“No. I’m with a friend actually. She’s there in the dancefloor. Should we dance too?”

     “Huh? S-sure.”

Though she wasn’t lying, Eve knew it was necessary that she told him she had a company in case he was planning something else. Though her initial intention was to get pregnant by some random guy, she realized she shouldn’t carelessly pick one.

Like her plan, she pulled him in the middle of the dancefloor where people were uncontrollably wild. They were dancing like crazy that it wasn’t hard to pretend to get lost on it.

“Eve! Eve!” she heard him yelling, trying to reach his hand on her, she also pretended reaching her arm out but it wasn’t a lie when she was got pulled by the crowd.

She realized she was caught up by the dancing people in here and there, that some people were either intentionally or accidentally touching or bumping on her or behind her.

She realized she couldn’t get out when her sight suddenly went blurred. It was shaking and her knees started to weakened too.

“Sh*t. That man…” she cursed inside her mind, realizing she was drugged.

She bumped into here and there, seeing different faces of men and women until she found her way out. But by that time, her body was already acting strange and she almost want to pass out.

She stood there, trying to keep her balance. However, when she looked down to the couches, she seemed to recognize a familiar face from there.

She pointed him with her index finger, stepping forward towards him to make sure she wasn’t mistaken.

“Oh! It’s the man who don’t know how to kiss!” she blurted out with a taunting smile and the next step forward she made him stumble to the floor.

She will make sure to find that petty son of a small company and make him pay for destroying her first experience going to the bar.

“Oh! It’s the man who don’t know how to kiss!”

Lucas and Simon were just drinking liquor at a corner, refusing every woman that tried to approach them when suddenly, a woman stood before them. She was unstable in her feet and though Lucas had no interest to pay attention to her, the words that came out of her mouth made him lift his eyes on her.

“Lucas. She’s talking to you!” Simon laughed, almost hesitating to say it after seeing the woman pointing at his friend.

With furrowed brows and narrowed eyes, Lucas glared at the woman before him. she was dressed like every woman in this bar in that seducing red dress in her fair skin. Her eyes were quivering and though she looked different in this dress and smoky make-up, how could Lucas mistake those pair of eyes that once stared at him?

From her eyes, his stares went down to her lips and now, he was so sure. That little mark he left on her lips was screaming she’s the girl he meets at the streets ago which left him after kissing him.

And what?! Did she just called him a man who didn’t know how to kiss?!

He immediately stood up, but then, the girl stepped towards him and suddenly stumbled.

He was never the gentleman type like Simon who would catch any woman who would fell but to his surprise, his body automatically moved to catch her.

An action that even Simon was surprised of.

“Hey! Why are you here?” Lucas started shaking to woman in his arms but she seemed drunk, she wouldn’t open her eyes. she wasn’t fully unconscious and just like any other normal drunk girl.

Still, Lucas was sharp enough to sense it was strange.

He leaned forwards, near her lips that it seemed as if, they were kissing.

“Woah! Woah! Not here, Lucas. Please get a room,” Simon ranted, pretending to cover his eyes with a grin. Though he’s actually covering nothing.

Lucas sniffed the girl and his eyebrows furrowed even more when she puffed a breath through her mouth that fanned him straight to his face.

It smelled sweet with the scent of liquor that made his body tensed for some strange reason.

He moved away from her then stood up, carrying her in his arms as he looked at Simon.

“Sim. Get me a clean room for her. She’s drugged.”

Hearing that, Simon went serious and nodded. Still, he was puzzled as to why his friend would act protective and concerned with that obviously little girl.

Though he had done that before; showing care for someone, he was always just faking it just to please some flirty girls. But he was sure, this time, he’s no joking.

He glanced at the woman carried especially in Lucas’ arms. “Who is she?”
