“I never expected to meet you here.” Eve took a sip of the ice tea Faye ordered for here and eyed her observingly.

Unlike before, Faye looked rather humble which was the opposite of what she was years ago. When Eve and her was still in the same class, she was always arrogant and mean. Especially towards her. Still, the competitiveness in her eyes was still there.

Faye was never a bad girl to begin with. She was kind to others. Perhaps, its her desire to be better than Eve in ballet that made her become mean towards her.

“Yeah, me too.” Faye replied shortly, somewhat embarrassed.

“If you don’t mind, can I ask you something?”

Faye met Eve’s eyes intently and a smile curled in her lips. “You wanted to ask what happened to me after you give up the opportunity to be an international ballet dancer to me?”

Eve paused. “I didn’t give it up to you-”
