Dinner

THE HOWARD'S HOUSEHOLD

Lilian was playing with Lavender when she heard a knock on her room door.

"Sue is here and dinner will soon be ready." her aunt informed her from outside the room.

"I am coming" she replied.

"Okay dear."

Lilian smiled at her son. "Let's go see Sue." she cooed to him, Little Lavender giggled in response.

She opened the door and went downstairs carrying him in her arms. Sue was downstairs helping her aunt set the table.

"Lilian! I missed you all day. Work wasn't the same without you." Sue said as soon as she saw Lilian.

Lilian handed Lavender over to her uncle.

"I missed you too." she told Sue as she approached her for a hug. The both of them hugged each other.

"The other girls were green with envy when I told them that not only did you meet Mr Romano, you are also his secretary. By the way, what did you do to your hair?" Sue asked.

"Mr Romano sent me shopping so I could get work appropriate clothes and along the way I decided to dye my hair." Lilian explained.

"It looks so pretty." Sue complimented her.

"Let's eat dinner" her aunt announced.

"I hope you guys don't mind that I came over for dinner again?" Sue asked looking apologetic.

"Of course not dear, any friend of Lilian is welcome here. We actually enjoy your company dear" Lilian's aunt told her.

"Thanks a lot for your hospitality" Sue said happily as she sat down.

In this manner, they laughed and ate dinner happily.

Rosa turned to look at Ricciardo and Constanza.

"Hey guys." she said.

"Hey Rosa." they replied, a deadpan expression on their face.

"Alessandro, my mum made dinner, do you want to come over? Constanza and Ricciardo, you are also invited." she asked.

"I have somewhere to be, I am so sorry." Ricciardo rejected the invitation

"Same here." Constanza added.

"Bestie...." Rosa pleaded, giving him her best puppy dog eyes.

"I have somewhere to be." Alessandro told her.

"Pleaseeeeee....." she begged.

"Fine but I will just stay for a little while." he acquiesced.

"I knew he would agree" Constanza whispered.

"He is her good little puppy." Ricciardo whispered back.

Due to the sensitive hearing of werewolves, Rosa and Alessandro could hear their little whispered exchange.

He glared at them and they quickly kept quiet.

"As a matter of fact, I think Ricciardo and Constanza can spare a little time as well."

"What!" Ricciardo exclaimed.

"Yes, or do you have a problem with the words of your Alpha?" he asked them.

"No Alpha" they answered in resignation.

"Lead the way." Alessandro told Rosa.

"Yes! Mother is going to be so excited." Rosa said as she happily led the way to her house while they followed behind.

Rosa's parents were excited to see the Romano siblings at their dinner table.

Her mother quickly set the table for dinner. They sat down and started to eat.

"So Alpha, how is business?" Rosa's father asked him.

"It's okay. How is your company doing?" Alessandro asked in return.

"A bit slow but we are managing it and making it work." Alessandro replied.

"Alpha, I don't want you to get angry about what the Elder council said. As you know they are old. And old people can be a bit insensitive." Rosa's mother said in a soft tone.

"I am quite aware of that and I am not angry at all. The elder council is right, none of us are mated or have a child. Should anything happen to us, the pack will be in jeopardy." Alessandro replied her.
