Xavier was surprised when he heard this but composed himself immediately..

"Okay let her through." He said and immediately took the stairs with the tray in his hands..

He opened the door to the master bedroom and found her leaning against the headboard smiling at him weakly..

He carefully placed the meal on the bedside table and planted a kiss on her palm..

"Stop treating me like a child, I'm fine okay?" She tried to convince him but unfortunately Xavier was determined not to listen to her excuse to get back to work..

"There's someone here to see you Love."he told her and she raised her eyebrow while staring at him with a confused expression because she wasn't expecting anyone..
