Sofia's POV

My fingers drummed the glass automated table of my office dramatically as I waited by the telephone for that one call.

I've been anxiously waiting the past week for the results of the proposal I submitted with the international company abroad.

As I heard, Estaban Global Conglomerate is the only company that has succeeded in making it to the audit level, and what happens from now will determine the trajectory of our company for life.

Though I must confess that the fact that we made it to the audit level has placed us on a high pedestal and I'm not willing to change that.

The opinion about me as the company CEO has changed massively and everyone including the board members are beginning to warm up to me one after the other.

“Do you need some coffee ma'am?” Stella, my personal assistant, asked me and I rolled my eyes.

“No, Stella. I already told you that a million times. The only thing I need right now is that call, and I'm not going to rest until I do.” I argued.

    Santoro's POVI stared at the document blankly, and my mind was unable to comprehend any of the words written in it. It's been nothing but hell for me since we returned from last weeks event.     Sofia's POV The next day, I sat on my office chair, punching words into my computer as I hurriedly fixed the errors I made last night while completing a project.
