Lenora's Pov:

It was a Saturday morning,

“Where to?” Yara questioned me as she stared at me from head to toe.

“I’m going out, of course.”

“I already got permission from Richard, I’m not planning to sneak out.” I rolled my eyes this time.

“Okay.” She raised her shoulder.

“But can I go with you, please?” She suddenly pouted childishly, but that wasn’t going to work on me.

“No.” I declined, and I walked away.

She instantly gave the tray in her hands to one of the maids passing by and ran after me.

“Are you ready?” Remo asked, walking towards the car.

Richard had ordered him to drive me to wherever I was heading.

“Please
” Yara tugged at my dress from behind. “Just this once, huh?” She pouted again. I knew she was doing all that because of Remo, coming with me would create more time for her with Remo.

“Fine, just get in, and don’t think of disturbing me in any way,” I mumbled.

“You are the best, ma’am.” I watched her blow me a silly kiss before hurrying into the car
