CHAPTER 21 - Alpha Jackson's Revenge

ALPHA DAVID JACKSON'S POV 

I stand in the kitchen doorway and watch as Skyler makes her way around the kitchen. It's like she had never left, except she now fights back more. 

I knew she would look like her mother Catherine when she grew up. I just didn't expect her to look that much like her. Even my wolf is having trouble defining her as our daughter, not our mate. He wants me to take her; he wants me to go in there, pick her up, throw her over our shoulder and take her to our room so we can have some fun with her. 

I was just about to give in when my watch beeps; I sigh, take one more look at her moving so gracefully around the kitchen and then head back to my office. No sooner do I sit down at my desk than my phone rings. I answer it, 

"Alpha Jackson..." 

"Hello, Alpha Jackson here!" 

There didn't seem to be anyone on the line, but it wasn't dead either. I shrug my shoulders and hang up the phone. I lo

Some people are just foul individuals and when teamed up with others of the same mindset, all the more perverse. I like the edgy storyline. Definitely not a story for the faint of heart or for someone who thinks the world is full of gumdrops and rainbows...

I actually haven't seen him for a few days. I am heading to the office to see if Elijah or Nathan knows where he is. Once outside the office, I knock on the door and open it slightly. Slipping my head just inside, I smile at the 2 Alphas that are sitting in chairs facing both Elijah and Nathan.
