Oh fuck! Why on earth were the stairs so long to get to the apartment? That was just shit!

The only hope I had was David, my final straw. Thank goodness, the cops were yet to find me. Not long ago, I saw my picture and I was literally wanted by the police.

I opened my bag and the knife I stole was in a safe place. I sighed in relief and checked the time on my phone. It was 10 pm at night.

There was definitely no way the cops were going to be standing by at the apartment, right?

When I got to the door of the apartment, I made sure I rang the doorbell silently.

My hands were shaking crazily fast, it was possible for him to be sleeping. Oh fuck!

I tried again and rang the doorbell. I continued ringing the doorbell with frustration.

“Please David!” I was whispering to myself and ringing the doorbell. My eyes kept scrolling around in fear.

After multiple attempts, David opened the door.

Before he could scream, I held his mouth, pushed him inside and locked the door.
