I opened my eyes and sigh. Morning comes again. The birds were chirping and I assumed they were singing outside my windows. They must be hanging out at the tree branches that are stationed beside my room. A gust of wind blows making my flimsy curtains waver. It feels chilly, making me shiver.
It's been three days since I got wounded. I had just overcome my fever and during those days, I had Erick beside me all the time. He attends to everything I need. From cleaning my wound, herb treatments and a whole lot more. I could say that he successfully softened a fraction of my heart.
