CHAPTER-24

Today is Diwali and its Sunday. I got up early with a beaming face. After doing my daily washroom routine and praying, I called my parents and sister. I wished them happy Diwali and talked for with them in a conference call.

I decided to do something new today. After breakfast, I came back to my room and started finding a particular simple ethnic dress and finally I found it. I smiled and changed into an off-white Anarkali suit. I applied little makeup with an Indian touch, wore off-white bangles on one wrist with golden-white jhumkis (earrings). Curling my hairs, I left them open but pinned from the front.

Satisfied with my final look, I went downstairs humming. I was walking in the hall when Noah was coming inside and seeing me he stopped and looked at me from head to toe with surprising eyes.
