Chapter 23: Herbert learns about the Hybrid
Next day...
It's past noon and Austin was in his living room, sitting down on the couch. There are several documents besides him, and two in both hands.
Sonia hasn't been at home regularly since she met with Michael. She goes out every morning without Austin knowing about her movement. As usual, she has gone out since morning, leaving Austin all alone at home.
Austin was so busy that, he didn't hear when someone knocks at the door. One of the staff went to open the door and wasn't surprised to see Carlos, Austin's friend.
Every weekend, Carlos would always pay a visit to Austin's house, to while away time. The staff greeted him with a smile and ushers him into the house.
As Austin raised his head, he was surprised to see Carlos. Carlos has told Austin he won't be coming this weekend, so why the change of plan?

Terror overtook Williams's face, as a vein popped out in his neck because of fright. He never imagined that he would see Austin again in his life.It was Williams that recognizes Austin, but the latter had no idea if he exists or not.
