Issac was being super patient with her. He didn't want to scare her away and thought it would be better to give her some space to come around to the truth.

She ignored all his messages, his calls, his flowers, and even him. But he bore everything knowing she needed time.

He knew from the bottom of his heart that she loved him, and she only said all that breakup shit because she was angry and hurt at that time. She didn't mean it.

He waited for her patiently like a gentleman, but he lost it when she deleted her post and even blocked his number. It took everything in him to stop himself from barging into her dorm and demanding why she did that.

So just to rile her up and make her come to him. He posted a picture of himself kissing her. He took it when she had her eyes closed. Issac had a specific hidden folder in his phone which was full of her candid pictures. Often, he found himself scrolling through the pictures. It was his new hobby since he got into a relationship with her.

Issac never thought that he'd even consider being in a relationship, but things changed after he met her. He wanted to be with her, even if it meant being in a relationship. Then, yes, he was happy to oblige.

Innessa was hurt; he could understand that, but she should consider his situation as well. If he had approached her with the truth, she would've never agreed to date him. What was his fault in this that he wanted her? He even tried to become the gentleman she oh-so wanted her partner to be.

She shouldn't have stepped into his life to begin with. It was she who asked for his help. It was she who spread the rumors. Yeah, he wanted to have a little fun because she was too f*cking naive, and her innocence attracted the corrupted demon in him.

And now he wants her, no. He f*cking needs her. Innessa belonged to him. There was no way out for her. She came into his life on her own, but she wouldn't be able to leave on her own.

He'll make her his; either she complies willingly, or he'll make her accept her fate in his way. Which were twisted and corrupted.

After dropping her off, he felt good. He got to taste her, to feel her.

He closed his eyes, tossing his head back on the headrest.

Her expressions raked his mind as his jaw clenched. She looked so f*cking divine. Stunning with that seductive expression on her face. The girl was trembling like a leaf in his arms. She was so f*cking responsive to his slightest touch.

God knows how he stopped himself from claiming her then and there.

Her soft mewls, her furrowed brows, those dilated pupils, and swollen lips with flushed cheeks and neck. F*ck, he so wanted to see where else she blushes under all those clothes. He wanted to make every inch of her skin turn red with his teasing, biting, and licking.

Innessa was just so innocent that he tried not to think of her in that way, but f*ck him. Her expressions in the dark alley were his undoing. That quivering chin, moist eyes, trembling legs. It was so f*cking tempting. He wanted to claim her then and there, right against the wall.

Seeing her like that, it was obvious why Innessa didn't want to be with him anymore. She wanted a gentleman, a kind soul, who'd cherish her.

Isaac, on the other hand, was anything but a gentleman. He was cold, ruthless, cruel, and downright merciless. He was the type of guy who'd ravage her first and cherish her later.

His member throbbed in his pants. F*ck, he was hard ever since touching her. He'd die of blue balls if he didn't release himself.

Issac was in the parking lot of the club. Issac pushed his seat back as he unzipped his pants and pulled his member out. He was rock-hard.

Throwing his head back, he closed his eyes. Her delicate face flashed in front of his eyes, those big innocent eyes, her pouty red lips. Her gentle voice, that tender smile.

He moaned, a grunt slipping through his lips as he stroked himself harder. Fisting his thick grit in his rough palm.

He wondered how it'd feel to have her soft, fragile hands holding his c*ck. Slithering, caressing. Her soft, warm mouth.

"Ahh," he groaned as sweat glistened on his forehead and chest.

He groggily grabbed some tissues with his free hand and pressed them on the head of his c*ck. Now pumping with both hands.

"Yes, ahhh, Innessa," he growled her name as if it was his first and last prayer.

His sweaty hair strands stick to his forehead. His thick brows furrowed, jaw clenched, the vein in his neck popping out as if in rage.

"Innessa," he moaned her name again as he pumped himself harder, imagining himself holding her hips and pounding in her from behind as she whimpered and trembled, screaming his name.

His brow twitched, an animalistic growl reverberating from deep within his chest, and he came shaking. "F*ck," he growled, slumping back on the seat as he breathed heavily.

When was the last time he masturbated and came so quickly while feeling good? Maybe never. F*ck! Innessa had turned him into a horny f*cking teen who had no control over his feral urges.

Cleaning himself, he tucked himself in his pants and stepped out of the car, raking his fingers through his hair as he breathed the fresh air.

Retrieving his phone, he typed. "Good night, Innessa. Sweet dreams, I'll be waiting for you tomorrow." He sent her the text; it was delivered, but she didn't see it. Of course, she wouldn't open it and must've seen it on the notification bar.

Locking his car, he made his way into the club. Issac wasn't stopped at the gate because the bouncers were well aware of him and the person he was about to meet. They tipped their head at Issac in respect, who offered them a small tip of his head and made his way into the VIP section of the club on the third floor.

The security stepped aside, letting him through as he made his way to the sitting area where someone was already waiting for him.

The person was holding his phone horizontally and was focused on the screen, tapping furiously.

Upon hearing footsteps, he looked up, and Issac's eyes met his as the man put his phone in his pocket and pulled to his feet, raising his hand as they clasped hands in a brotherly way and gave each other a chest bump.

"You're late," The tall, muscular man dressed in a black tux said, causing Issac to roll his eyes.

"My apologies, I kept the Pakhan waiting," Issac said sarcastically, making the man let out a throaty chortle.

"Don't talk to me like that in front of my men," He warned.

"Of course, the great mafia Lord has an image. I know, dude," Issac mused, pouring himself some vodka as he sipped it.

Issac couldn't understand Victor's love for vodka.

"If you weren't my childhood friend, you'd be ten feet under the ground for even talking to me like that," Victor mused, sipping on his vodka.

"As if your men could. I'll kill them before they can even touch me," Issac sneered, making the man smirk.

"Of course, that's why you're my friend," he mused.

Victor and Issac were childhood friends. Victor was three years older than him, and they had been friends since they joined the boxing Club for kids. Victor was excellent in that, and Issac used to look up to him until the day he became as strong and skilled as Victor.

Silence surrounded them as Issac glanced around. Not a single woman was on their floor.

"Who was the girl for whom you ruined the match?" Victor asked, causing Issac to sigh. If it were anyone else, Issac would have snapped their head for even asking such a thing, but it was Victor. Issac holds a special respect for this man.

"My girlfriend," Issac said in an exaggerated tone.

"And?" Victor pressed.

"And she saw me fighting. She didn't know the real me. I showed a gentle side to her- wait... Why aren't you surprised?" Issac looked at him, only to pause because he was staring at him with a stunned face, as much stunned as he could make, which was barely showing any emotion.

"I didn't want to cut you off. Continue," he said, causing Issac to glare at him.

"It's because of you. I told you to delay the match, but you were being a twat!" Issac snapped, making Victor scowl at him.

"Why didn't you tell her the truth?"

"Then she wouldn't date me," Issac grumbled.

"So, she broke up with you now?"

Issac's eyes narrowed, "I swear to God, I'd kill you right now if you had spies tailing me-"

"Why would I do that? I would never waste my skilled spies on you, twat," Victor retorted in a thick Russian accent.

"So, she did break up with you. Let's drink in the name of your misery," Victor raised a glass in the air, earning a menacing snicker from Issac, which made him chuckle.

"What about you? You're still looking forward to marrying your enemy's daughter?" Issac asked, and Victor's face hardened.

"Let's not discuss such a distasteful matter right now. Tell me," Victor mused.

"The guy who runs miles away from dating ended up like this? What happened, Knight?" Victor smirked.

Victor was just like Theo and Maddox when it came to teasing; the only difference was that he had the upper hand because he was older, and Issac respected him.

"I don't know. I wasn't even interested in her, to begin with, but things changed. I didn't even realize when I got obsessed with her and fell in love with her. I believe she did some voodoo magic on me-"

Victor burst out laughing, causing Issac to bless him with a string of curses, making him laugh even more.

Issac woke up early because Innessa had class at 8. Issac checked his phone, but she still hadn't seen his text.

He waited for her patiently, dropping her a text that he was waiting outside for her, but it wasn't seen. He didn't want to see her location because Issac didn't want to think that she defied him.

It was 8:30 when Darla stepped out of the building. Their eyes locked, and Issac walked over to her, "Can you call Innessa for me? She isn't responding to my texts," he said.

"She left at 7 today," Darla said as Scarlett stepped out of the building right behind her. She tipped her head at him in acknowledgment, and both girls walked away.

Issac got in his car, fuming. Innessa shouldn't have done this. He told her there'd be consequences, and now she'd face them.

Innessa was noting down the key points in class. Her phone vibrated a couple of times, but she didn't check it.

She couldn't sleep the whole night and was scared of what had happened yesterday.

The way he dragged her into the alley. How he forcefully unblocked himself on her phone. He manhandled her and not only that...

She shivered, recalling the sensation when he did those things to her. Innessa cried last night and asked forgiveness from God because, despite her resistance, her body reacted to his touch, and she felt good.

She was embarrassed, scared, and ashamed of herself. After what Issac did last night, she wanted to stay miles away from him. This was the reason she broke up with him after finding out the truth.

Innessa was afraid of what he would do to her. After what he did yesterday, she was sure he might do it again. She didn't want to be anywhere near him. The way he made her body react to his whims was so sinful.

The door to the classroom slammed open, causing everyone to jump in their seats because of the loud bang when the door hit the wall at the back.

Innessa's heart jumped to her mouth when her eyes locked with those furious cognac eyes.

Her body locked up, her shoulders shrank, and her heart rattled when he marched over to her despite the presence of the professor.

Issac stopped near her seat as he watched her coldly like a hawk. "Follow me if you don't want to create a scene here," He hissed in a low, dark tone so only she would hear him.

"What's your good name?" The professor asked sternly.

"Knight." He said, facing the professor who paused, realizing who he was.

"Issac Knight. I have permission from the dean. There's an emergency, Innessa had to be there. My apologies," Issac said in a gentle tone, and instantly the atmosphere lightened up.

But Innessa was shivering like a leaf, holding the pen so tightly that her knuckles turned white.

"Ms. Laskin, you can leave," the professor said, but before she could say anything. Isaac grabbed her books and put them in her bag. "Come, I'll carry your bag," he said, walking to the door.

Despite not wanting to leave, she forced her legs to move and followed behind him silently.

He walked down the hallway, which was deserted because everyone was in their respective classes.

He stopped abruptly, and everything happened in a second, one second, she was in the hallway, and the very next second, he had her pinned to the wall inside the girls' restroom as her bag lay on the floor near her feet.

He had one of his hands wrapped around her throat, causing her breath to hitch as he leaned in.

"Time for your punishment, Innessa," He growled lowly.

  • Tainted Whispers   Epilogue

The grand corridors of the Volkov estate were steeped in a profound, heavy silence, but inside Victor’s chest, a storm raged, wild, possessive, and entirely unyielding. He moved through the marble halls with long, deliberate strides, his hands shoved deep into the pockets of his dark trousers. On the surface, he was still the Pakhan, the ruthless sovereign who had reduced the Moretti syndicate to ash and brought the regional underworld to its knees in a single night. But behind the icy blue resolve of his eyes, his mind belonged entirely to one person.Serena.The mere sound of her name echoing in his head felt like a dark, intoxicating fever. Victor had spent his entire life mastering control. He had trained his heartbeat to remain steady in the face of death, built an empire out of absolute discipline, and viewed emotion as a fatal flaw in a dangerous world. But Serena had shattered every defense he possessed without firing a single bullet. He was smitten, completely, helplessly, an

The golden hour sun bathed the estate’s private courtyard in a deep, honey-colored light, casting long shadows across the cobblestones. The dark storm clouds from the previous nights were long gone, leaving behind a sky of crisp, clear sapphire. In the center of the courtyard sat a wrought-iron table laid out with late-afternoon tea, fresh pastries, and bowls of bright summer berries. For the first time in memory, the oppressive silence of the Volkov estate was broken not by low, tense whispers of syndicate business, but by the sweet sound of clear, unrestrained laughter.Sarah leaned back in her plush chair, a blanket draped over her knees, her cheeks flushed with a healthy, vibrant color. She was laughing so hard at a story Serena was telling that she had to set her teacup down to keep from spilling it."He didn't!" Sarah gasped, her eyes wide as she looked at her sister."I swear he did!" Serena laughed, her ocean-blue eyes sparkling with pure, unadulterated joy. She reached over,

By mid-afternoon, the heavy tension of the council briefing had completely dissipated, replaced by a quiet serenity that the Volkov estate had never seen before. The glass doors of the grand sunroom were pushed wide open, allowing a cool, pine-scented breeze to sweep across the polished marble floors. Outside, the rain-washed grounds glistened beneath the clear blue sky.Sarah sat on a plush, cream-colored sofa, wrapped in a soft cashmere throw. The pale, ghost-like terror that had masked her face in the cellar was finally giving way to faint color in her cheeks. Dr. Vance had changed her bandages earlier, assuring Serena that with proper rest and nutrition, her sister’s physical wounds would heal without a trace.Serena sat beside her, carefully setting a porcelain cup of chamomile tea into Sarah’s hands."Careful, it's hot," Serena whispered gently, her fingers lingering over Sarah's wrapped knuckles.Sarah took a slow sip, letting the steam warm her face. She looked around the sunr

The morning sun filtered through the sheer silk drapes of the master suite, casting long, golden ribbons of light across the plush king-sized bed. The room was an absolute sanctuary, quiet, warm, and vast, a stark contrast to the damp, iron-scented cellar that had bound her nightmares for months.Serena lay tangled in the high-thread-count sheets, the heavy wool blanket pulled over her bare shoulders. Victor was still asleep beside her, his massive arm draped possessively across her waist, pinning her against the solid heat of his chest. His breathing was slow, deep, and steady, the rare, quiet stillness of a Pakhan who had finally eliminated every threat to his empire.Serena rested her palm over his scarred forearm, feeling the rhythmic rise and fall of his ribs beneath her touch. It's over. The words echoed in her mind, sending a quiet, shuddering ripple through her chest.Lorenzo was dead. The Moretti syndicate, the rotten foundation of her entire life, had been reduced to ash ben

The soft moan that tore from Serena’s lips echoed against the wet marble walls of the bath, drowned out only by the quiet hum of the steaming water.Victor didn't slow his touch. Hearing her surrender to him, hearing her voice break softly in the space between them, only inflamed the dark, possessive fire burning in his blood. He deepened his grip, his large, calloused hands kneading the full weight of her breasts, his thumbs rolling rhythmically over her sensitive peaks until she was arching her back against his chest, gasping for air."You like when I touch you like this, Tigritsa?" Victor rasped near her ear, his deep Russian accent heavy with raw, unadulterated desire. His hot breath brushed over her wet neck, sending electric shivers cascading down her spine. "Even after everything... your body still knows who it belongs to.""Victor... please," Serena whimpered, her hands reaching down into the warm water to clasp at his forearms. She couldn't tell if she was begging him to stop

The quiet of the Volkov estate was heavy, almost suffocating, after the violent chaos of the night. In the guest wing of the mansion, Dr. Vance, the Volkov family’s private physician, finished wrapping the clean white bandages around Sarah’s wrists. He worked with quiet, practiced efficiency, applying a soothing salve to the brutal bruises left by the zip-ties and assessing her minor injuries before administering a mild sedative to help her rest.Serena sat on the edge of the plush mattress, never letting go of her sister’s trembling hand. She stroked Sarah’s soft hair, whispering low, reassuring words until the medicine finally took hold. Sarah’s breathing slowed into a deep, peaceful rhythm, her pale face relaxing into sleep for the first time in days.Serena pulled the heavy comforter up to Sarah's chin, lingering for a long moment to ensure she was truly safe, before standing up and quietly stepping out into the hallway.Down in the primary security hub, Victor stood over the slee

Innessa stepped out of her room as the door automatically locked. Her eyes darted to her neighbor, and it was Scarlett Walsh. "Hey," She chirped as soon as she saw Innessa. "So heavy ughh," Innessa groaned as she stepped into the dorm with two heavy boxes.
