VANCE'S POV
"IS there something you want to say Vance?" Wena breaks our silence.
From my stare out of the car I looked at her who was now driving.
We are going to our University where the people who are involved in the medical and psycho social mission that we will launch tomorrow in an indigenous community are already gathering.
The activity is one of the collaboration activities this summer vacation of the human rights organization that includes Wena and the three fraternities including the different fraternity that includes Branxton and Steven.
We are grateful that our University is open and supported by such activities to give us the opportunity to help and see the plight of other sectors in the countryside.
Tomorrow, I will be one of the activity photographers. I am not a member of Wena's human rights organization or any fraternities but when I have the opportunity and I can devote time to such an a

VANCE'S POVI STOPPED walking for a moment when I felt the beautiful ambiance around at our University. I felt the cool breeze of the evening air. Even though it is summer now the surroundings are cold because of the plants and gigantic trees around. I rolled my eyes around.I was at the far end of the road in the middle of the sports field where the end of that road was the building I was going to. VANCE'S POV STEVEN, you don't have to copy those photos and videos anymore because I'll give you back your cellphone." He stopped swiping his cellphone when he lifted up to look at me. "Why? VANCE'S POV"WENA! I'm lost!" I shouted into the air, "Wena!"I am still hoping that they are just around and she can hear me."Steven! I'm here!" I hope he noticed I was missing.I shouted and shouted until I got tired and completely lost hope. VANCE'S POVSTEVEN held my hand when he saw my fear and concern as I watched the rushing water.The tide never subsided and it seemed to get even angrier as it quickly passed to us. I feel that in every flow of it, it threatens our lives that at any moment it can swallow us, drown us and throw us somewhere.We were still sitting on a boulder in the middle of the river. We are not sure if the water flow reaches the surface of the rock. So we prepared ourselves in case another high and strong current comes to carry us away.We agreed to stay on top of the rock rather than try to cross the forceful current of water. We think it is safer for us to stay there. We could do nothing but wait for help or wait for the flood to subside.I clung tightly to Steven's hand. Earlier we had discussed what we would do in case we were swept away. We will try to get to the side of the river. My eyes fell on the thin rope tied to us that connected us so we wouldn&rsquo

VANCE'S POVI WAS shivering from the cold. I feel like I'm going to get sick.We were able to change our clothes again but we could still get wet because of the splash of water while the light rain falling. We are now sheltered in the large plastic that Steven was carrying.Our bodies were covered by our malong blanket to give us protection from the cold.My eyes fell to our feet. Steven let me wear his shoes even though I didn’t want to. It's not heavy and it's feels good on the feet. While he was content to be barefoot.With a sigh, I put the light of my flashlight in front of the still strong current of water. From time to time, I looked around to make sure that we didn't have a snake on the boulder where we were.I closed my eyes tightly.Hopefully Steven and I can last longer in this situation. Hopefully our bodies will be able to cope until the water recedes or our rescuers arrive.I took a deep breath.

VANCE'S POV"VANCE?!" Steven let go of my hug. His jaw clenched when he stared at me.He obviously didn’t like what I said.“I won’t take back what I said Steven! I will never be happy when you are gone! Im sure I'll get drunk everyday! I won't eat and I'll just cry and cry! I'll stop studying and I'll go where you are!" VANCE'S POVI WAS stunned as I stared at the blazing fire. I am now sitting on the fallen big tree in front of the bonfire.I have also been able to change into new clothes. My eyes fell on my foot wearing slippers. Everything I am wearing now was given to me by the people who saved me earlier."Excuse me," a man approached the bonfire as it reduced the fire there so it wasn't too bright.I noticed the bulge of the gun on his waist. VANCE'S POV"NO NEED but thank you Wena," Steven refused when Wena offered to pick us up. "The person we asked said. We are too far from our activity area. So we decided to just sleep here at the house of the natives we passed and then tomorrow morning we will go to the activity area."At first Wena did not agree. She wanted to make sure that we were safe.
