The crowd at the clubhouse began to thin out, and by 2 AM, only a handful of stragglers remained, most of them slumped over tables or passed out on couches. Trina had left an hour ago, leaving me to close up on my own.

I was wiping down the bar when I felt a presence behind me. I turned to find Talon leaning against the counter, his eyes dark and intense as they roamed over my body.

“Ready to head out, angel?” he asked, his deep voice sending shivers across my body.

I nodded, suddenly nervous. “Yeah, just let me grab my things.”

As I gathered my tips and shoved them into the front pocket of my jeans, I could feel Talon’s eyes on me. The air between us felt charged, electric with unspoken tension. I walked out from behind the bar, coat in hand, and we headed toward the door. I felt Talon’s hand on the small of my back.

As we reached his bike, I could feel the heat radiating from his body. He handed me a helmet as he took his hair down, briefly shaking it out and running his fingers through it, and I ogled him shamelessly. I put the helmet on, and he turned to help me secure it before pulling his own over his head.

“Ever ridden before?” He asked as he swung his leg over the bike.

I shook my head. “This is my first time.”

A small smile spread across his face. “Well then, hold on tight.”

I climbed on behind him, wrapping my arms around his waist as the engine roared to life beneath us. As we rolled out of the lot, I pressed myself closer to him, feeling the electricity crackle between us as I hugged his back.

Talon took the long way back to Jake’s house, winding through dark country roads. The cool night air whipped past us, but his body was warm against mine. My hands splayed across his abs, feeling the hard muscles beneath his shirt. I fought the urge to let them wander lower.

As we rounded a tight curve, I let out a small gasp and pressed my face into his back. I felt, more than heard, his low chuckle. He reached down with one hand, squeezing my thigh reassuringly. The simple touch sent a jolt through my body.

All too soon, we were pulling up to the farmhouse. Talon cut the engine and helped me off the bike, his hands lingering on my waist. We removed our helmets, shaking out our hair.

“Thanks for the ride,” I said softly, nibbling on my lower lip.

Talon’s eyes roamed my face, coming to rest on my lips. Before I knew what hit me, his mouth crashed into mine, nearly sending me reeling backwards before his arms wrapped tightly around my waist.

I gasped against Talon’s lips, shocked by the sudden intensity of the kiss. I melted into his embrace, winding my fingers into his long hair and tugging gently as I returned his attack with equal fervor.

His tongue swept across my bottom lip, seeking entrance, and I eagerly granted it. As our tongues danced, I felt a low growl rumble through his chest. He backed me up against his bike, his hands roaming down my sides to grip my hips. I could feel the hard length of him pressed against my stomach, and a soft moan escaped me.

Talon broke the kiss, trailing his lips along my jaw to my ear. “Do you have any idea how long I’ve wanted to do that?” he growled, his hot breath sending shivers down my spine.

“Probably about as long as I have,” I whispered back, my fingers reaching up to run softly through his beard.

We stood that way for a few seconds that felt like endless hours, his forehead pressed to mine, his piercing green eyes lingering on mine.

“I have to meet up with Jake,” he mumbled, finally pulling away as I heard the rumble of motorcycles making their way up the street. “That will be Ghost and Bones. They’ll keep an eye on the place while you rest.”

As the guys pulled into the driveway and cut their bikes, I watched my angel float onto the porch and up to the house. She paused briefly at the door, glancing back over her shoulder, and I gave her a wink, a smile playing at the edges of my mouth. She disappeared into the house, and I could still taste her on my lips as I turned to the guys.

“Everything quiet?” I asked, my voice gruff.

Ghost nodded. “All clear. No sign of any trouble.”

“Good,” I replied. “Keep your eyes open. I’ll be back later.”

They nodded solemnly, taking up positions on the perimeter of the property. I swung my leg over my bike, the engine purring to life beneath me. As much as I wanted to stay, to follow Laura inside and finish what we’d started, I had business to attend to.

The cool night air whipped past me as I sped toward town, my mind racing. That kiss had been everything I’d imagined and more. The softness of her plump lips, the little sounds she made, the way her body fit perfectly against mine - it was intoxicating. But I knew I had to tread carefully.

When I arrived at the warehouse, Jake was already there, pacing back and forth with a cigarette hanging from his mouth.

“Took you long enough,” Jake grumbled as I pulled up. “What the hell kept you?”

I shrugged, trying to keep my expression neutral. “Just making sure your sister got home safe.”

Jake narrowed his eyes, but didn’t press further. “We’ve got a situation,” he said, taking a long drag of his cigarette. “Craig’s been spotted sniffing around town again.”

I felt a surge of rage at the mention of that bastard’s name. He was being too fuckin persistent.

“Apparently we haven’t been clear enough,” Jake said. “We need to send a stronger message.”

I nodded grimly. “What’s the plan?”

Jake outlined the details as we made our way into the warehouse. A group of our most trusted brothers were already there, gearing up. The air was heavy with anticipation.

As Talon and I pulled up to the clubhouse, I felt an odd flutter of nerves in my stomach. The parking lot was mostly empty except for a few bikes and a slick black Audi sedan that I assumed belonged to Kat.Talon cut the engine and I climbed off the bike, removing my helmet. He pulled me close, cupping my ass in both hands as he kissed me deeply. “I’ll see you later, angel,” he murmured against my lips. “Try not to miss me too much.”I rolled my eyes playfully. “I’ll do my best to somehow survive without you for a few hours.”With one last quick kiss, Talon pulled his helmet back on and roared off toward the garage. I watched him go, admiring the way his muscles flexed as he handled the machine. As I walked into the clubhouse, I spotted Kat sitting at a booth in the corner, a stack of papers in f

The next morning, I woke up tangled in Talon’s arms, feeling more rested and content than I had in years. Sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. I tilted my head up to look at Talon, admiring the way his long dark lashes fanned across his cheeks as he slept. As if sensing my gaze, his eyes fluttered open, green meeting blue. A slow smile crept across his face.“Morning, angel,” he murmured, his voice rough with sleep.“Morning,” I replied softly, unable to keep the smile off my face.Talon’s hand trailed lazily up and down my bare back, sending shivers through my body. “How are you feeling?” he asked, his eyes searching mine.I stretched languidly against him, assessing the damage. I giggled, “I don’t think I’ll be able to walk right for a week, and yet, I feel amazing.”His cock twitched against my hip at those words, and I laughed again.“However, Mister fucking Sex God,” I said, rolling over and straddling his stomach, “I need a shower - and some

TalonI jolted awake, instantly alert as Jake’s imposing figure filled the doorway. Instinctively, I tightened my arm around Laura, pulling her closer to my chest. She stirred slightly but didn’t wake.“What the fuck is this?” Jake growled, his voice low and dangerous.I sat up slowly, careful not to disturb Laura. “Jake, man, let’s talk about this outside,” I said quietly, trying to keep the situation from escalating.Jake’s eyes blazed with fury as they darted between me and his sleeping sister. “Outside. Now,” he snarled before turning and stomping down the hallway.I carefully extracted myself from Laura’s arms, pressing a kiss to her temple before slipping out of bed. I quickly pulled on my jeans and boots, following Jake out of the room.———————————LauraI awoke to the sight of Talon pulling my door closed as he left the room. He had a concerning look on his face. When we reached my bedroom, Talon kicked the door shut behind us and gently lowered me onto the bed. He stood over me, his eyes raking over my body with an intensity that made me shiver.“You sure about this, angel?” he asked, his voice rough with desire.I nodded, reaching for the hem of my shirt and pulling it off over my head. “I’ve never been more sure of anything.”With a growl, Talon was on me, his lips crashing into mine as he pushed my legs apart with his knees. His hands roamed my bare skin, finally reaching behind me to unhook my bra and pausing briefly as I tossed it across the room. I arched into him, desperate for more contact as he resumed our kiss.I tugged at his shirt and he abandoned my lips long enough to pull it over his head. My breath caught as I took in the sight of his chiseled torso. I ran my hands across his chest and down to his belt as I glanced up at him, my eyes begging for permission.“No,” he groaned, his eyes darkening as he focused his attention on my

TalonLaura and Kat finally came walking out of Jake’s office. I felt my jaw clench at the sight of Laura’s tear-stained face. Every protective instinct in my body screamed at me to go to her, to wrap her in my arms and shield her from the hell she’d just been reliving. But I held back, not wanting to overstep or draw attention. She made her way back behind the bar, smiling weakly at Trina as she poured a drink for Kat, who sat down across from her. I watched as she busied her hands with wiping down glasses, her movements mechanical as if she was on autopilot.Unable to stay away any longer, I walked over, settling onto the stool next to Kat. “Everything okay, angel?” I asked softly, keeping my voice low so only she could hear. She looked up, her blue eyes meeting mine. The pain I saw there made my chest ache. “Yeah,” she said with a small smile, “I’ll be fine.”Kat cleared her throat, turning to Laura with a smirk. “I’m going to get out of here. I’ll be in touch soon with next steps.

  • Talon   Chapter 8

As the afternoon wore on, the clubhouse began to fill up. I kept busy pouring drinks and chatting with the regulars, all the while hyper-aware of Talon’s presence. He stayed close, leaning against the bar or playing pool nearby, always keeping me in his line of sight.Around 6 PM, Jake strolled in, looking more rested than he had this morning. He made his way to the bar, a striking woman following closely behind him. She was tall and slender, with sleek brown hair pulled back into a loose bun at the nape of her neck. Her soft features were sharpened by her no-nonsense expression and the crisp lines of her expensive-looking dark suit, and her bright red stilettos matched her lipstick. She carried herself with an air of authority that commanded respect. They made their way over to the bar, and Jake sat down on a stool, nodding toward the whiskey. As I reached to pour him a glass, he said, “Laura, this is Kat. She’s the club’s lawyer.”“Katherine Sterling,” she said, reaching across the
