As soon as the bell rang for closing, I scooted out of the class, I had called my boyfriend to come to pick me up in school during break, which would stop Ryan from forcing me to follow him home.

I stood in the school's park, waiting for Aiden to show up and call me if he was around.

My palms felt sweaty, and I repeatedly tap my left foot on the floor as I checked the cars driving into the school's park.

“Waiting for someone?” Someone chirped behind me, and for a second, I thought my heart would jump straight out of my mouth.

I turned around to see Brielle staring at me with an awkward smile on her face.

I heaved out in relief and smiled at her, “Hey, Brielle,” I greeted her, wondering why she approached me.

“Anything wrong?” I asked her as she stared at me and a bit anxiously on her lips.

“Uhm! It's about Ryan,” She said, and I sighed.

I don't want anyone to bring up his name, the way I'm trying so hard to avoid him, what if he just jumps up from somewhere and shows up.
