BK and Daphne turned to the window at the same time when they heard the strong wind beating against it, the one near the dining area.

One window was open, so they could hear the loud sound of the wind from inside. That was followed by the ringing of the phone from the living room. They exchanged glances.

BK stood up to answer the call. They had just started eating breakfast at that moment.

She had taken a few bites when she saw BK returning.

“Papa called. All flights, local and international, were canceled because of the incoming typhoon,” he said loudly since he wasn’t at the dining area yet.

She felt a little sad. She looked at her husband after a moment. “Did he say when the flight will be rescheduled? ”

“Don’t worry, once the weather clears up, the canceled flights will resume right away. I already called Fly Moore. They’ll get back to us with updates.”
