Lost In The Forest 2

Alarick and Leanda walked through the thick underbrush, twigs and branches snapping under their feet. The rustling of leaves and chirping of birds were the only sounds in the air. Alarick kept looking around, trying to recognize any landmark, but everything looked the same.

They had been walking through the dense forest for hours, trying to find a way back to the spot where the others were

"Are we lost?" Leanda asked, her voice tinged with worry.

Alarick smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, we'll find our way back. Just keep walking."

Leanda nodded, taking a deep breath to calm herself. She didn't want to panic, not with Alarick around. She suddenly felt the warmth of his hand in her and squeezed it gently.

"We will find the way soon," he assured.
