A Terrible Mistake

Brixlee stood in the middle of the crowded room, her eyes scanning the sea of people in search of Nathan, she was sure he would be there. With the few weeks she had known him, she knew what kind of person he was. She couldn't wait to let loose and forget about everything else for a while.

As she turned to head towards the bar, a tall, attractive guy stepped in front of her, blocking her path. "Hey there," he said with a smile. "I'm Ryan. Can I get you a drink?"
