Olivia stared at the little girl who cried to her parents. The little girl wanted to eat ice cream hence she started to throw a tantrum. Olivia smiled as she watched as the girl’s parent tried to get her to calm down.
Her lips turns curves into a smile, she wanted to have a happy family with her fiancée, Felix. Sighing, Olivia walked towards the hotel receptionist, Felix had texted her to meet him there. She was excited to see him again, shortly after he proposed to her-which was six months ago-she traveled to Japan for a business trip. Now that she was back, she couldn’t wait to see the love of her life. “Hello ma’am, how may I be of help to you?” The receptionist asked with a calm smile. “I’m here to meet someone, According to my knowledge he booked room 300” I replied with a slight smile. “Room 300?” The receptionist said with a confused gaze, “that can’t be right.” Olivia watched as the receptionist typed something on her computer, her lips curved into a thin patient line. “What’s the name of your fiancée?” the receptionist asked skeptically. “Felix Zachery.” Olivia replied with a hint of pride. A smile appeared on her face, she thought the reason the receptionist was behaving this way was because Felix was a well known business man. “What’s your name” the receptionist questioned, she stared at Olivia in suspicion. “Olivia Hugo” she replied twirling her russet colored hair, the receptionist eyes widened in surprise. “You are one of the Hugo’s” “Yes” she replies once more with a smile. The Hugo’s were a big name in New York, Germany and Japan. They were the bigwigs who got them selves involved in the business sector and Olivia Hugo happened to be the Vice President/CEO of the Hugo’s company. “It’s about to go down” the receptionist mutters to her self, she quickly hands Olivia the keys. “What did you say?” Olivia asked with a frown etched on her face. “I was talking to my self ma’am” the receptionist quickly replied. Not thinking much of what the receptionist had said, Olivia walked away. At last she gets to the door with the number ‘300’ inscribed on it. Olivia tried to fix her hair but a sound sets her off. “Was that a moan?” Olivia thought as she gazed at the door. She holds the door handle only to find the door unlocked. A frown appears on her face, her gut feelings told her something was terribly wrong. Releasing a breathe she didn’t know she was holding, Olivia entered the room. She dropped her purse as soon as she observed the scene right in front of her. Clothes were strewn on the floor and two bodies were tangled in the sheets. At first she thought she had made a mistake, she thought she entered the wrong room, that was until she heard a male grunt. “Felix” Olivia called out in a shaky breath. The intense make out stopped, a brown hair and a face she recognized all to well popped out of the sheet. “Olivia!!!” His voice called out in panic. Olivia took two steps backward in disbelief, she stared at him in shock, how could he do this to her? A female face popped out of the sheets, the girl smiled, it wasn’t any ordinary smile, it was a smile of victory. Olivia’s heart broke further when she saw the woman her fiancée was cheating with. “Valentina?” Olivia questioned on disbelief, tears threatened to spill from her eyes but she prevented her self from crying. Felix quickly tried to untangle himself from. Valentina, Valentina simply stared at him with a victorious smirk. “Hello sister” Valentina said with a cheeky wave, Olivia stared at her half sister in disbelief. This was the same sister she would sacrifice her things for, her mother always said she was silly for doing this to an illegalmate child. Her mother said giving Valentina everything she asked for would bite her in the foot. Her mother had claimed that Valentina was just like her mother. Olivia never believed her, but seeing her half sister frolicking with her fiancée, she now believed her mother. Her mother wasn’t the blind one, she, Olivia Hugo, was the blind one. How could she do this to her? How could they do this to her? “It’s not what you think” Felix said hurriedly wearing his under wear “I can explain.” “I don’t need your goddamn explanation, how could you, how could you do this too me, have you no shame?” Olivia yelled in pain, her heart broke into tiny pieces, the image of her fiancée moaning as he fucked her sister was imprinted in her brain. “It is you who have no shame sister” Valentina replied with a snare “he was mine before he was yours, It was your fault for stealing my man first.” “Shut up Valentina” Felix growled through gritted teeth “please calm down babe, it’s not what you think.” “Don’t you dare call me that!” Olivia said staring at her fiancée in disgust. She couldn’t believe he had the audacity to call her ‘babe’. “And you, if he was your man why didn’t you tell me, you think I would willingly sleep and engage your fucking man” Olivia Screamed in anger “Mother was right, you are just like your mother, you are a scheming bitch.” Valentina simply shrugged playfully. Olivia huffed in disbelief while Felix tried to pet her. “One more thing sister, I’m pregnant” Valentina declared with a victorious smirk.Alex stared at the men who defended Valentina in irritation, these men claimed to be a formidable force in the business world yet they couldn’t see the through the tricks of the woman they defended. He shook his head, they were still wet behind the ears.“What do you mean she almost killed Olivia,” one of the men asked in shock, “ I find it quite unbelievable, Valentina would never hurt a fly.”Olivia burst into laughter, “I wonder what you would think when I tell you what my sister has been up to for the past few days.”Olivia could tell them that her sister had been sleeping with Felix but she didn’t, now was not the right time to expose such a big secret.“I don’t want to hear it, you are framing her again,” another one of the men said. Alex raised an eyebrow when he noticed that one of the three men just watched them bantering. The man was a red head and he did nothing to defend the so called saintess, in fact, the red head look bored out of his mind.“Your so called saintess, fed
“I thought I told you I quit,” Alex responded as he briefly glanced at Olivia. She stared at him with an emotion he couldn’t recognize then she looked away.Alex smirked, he knew she was suspicious and he was in no mood to dispel her suspicions. The truth was, he didn’t become Olivia’s secretary just because he wanted to be with her at all times. If he wanted to stay with her then he would have arranged other means rather than becoming her secretary. The thing was Olivia’s father, Mr. Richard Hugo, was treading in murky waters. A batch of his weapons had been stolen from his company and then a counterfeit product turned up.He would have ignored it if the counterfeit weapons were useful but any soldier or person who used them was doomed to die.The weapon was weak, when the gun was fired, the bullet would bounce back therefore killing the owner of the weapon. What was worse was, they sold the weapons under the pretense that his company made them.He suspected that Mr. Hugo was just
Olivia stared at Alex through the office binders. Alex was a distraction. She placed her hands in between her palms with a groan. How could he look so hot in his suit and to think he wore golden rimmed glasses.Olivia raised her head, she frowned when she saw a lady talking to Alex. She raised an eyebrow in surprise, she recognized that lady.It was Lia. Lia wasn’t a bad person but she was just too blunt and straightforward. Alex raised his head to look at Lia, his lips curved into a small smile.Olivia immediately stood up. Picking up her iPad from the executive desk, she walked out of the office.“Alex we have a meeting to attend to,” Olivia said the moment she stopped in front of his desk. She noticed that Alex lips had curved into a loop sided grin. She arched an eyebrow, it looked like he was studying her every move. What on earth is he thinking?Olivia thought as she stared at him thoughtfully,“Okay boss,” Alex said, then he stood up. He turned to Lia who watched their interact
Olivia stared at Alex like he had muttered complete nonsense, her mouth hung open as she tried to comprehend what he had just said.“What did you say?” Olivia asked as she stared at Alex with a confused expression.“I said I’m your new secretary” Alex repeated as he stared at Olivia with an amused grin.“My office now,” Olivia said as she spun around and hastily walked towards her office.“Good morning Miss Olivia,” Everyone in the office greeted. Olivia simply dismissed them with a wave. Alex followed Olivia with a small grin, he sincerely wondered what she wanted to say to him. Would she tell him to quit his job? He shook his head, there was no way he was going to quit.“You are joking right?” Olivia asked the moment she locked the door behind her. Alex shook his head.“I’m dressed in a suit, do you really think I would dress up like this just to prank you?’ Alex asked with an eyebrow raised. Olivia nodded, he was right.“Okay since you work as my secretary, just pretend we just me
Jared immediately went down on his knees, he couldn’t go to Area Dars, that place was a war zone. Anything could kill him. He could get shot by a stray bullet or worse he might get bombed. Jared shivered at the thought of getting bombed, he hadn’t even met the girl of his dreams. He was too young to die.“I was just talking nonsense boss, of course you know what is best for the company,” Jared pleaded. Alex simply stared as his secretary in amusement, a self satisfied smile tugged at his mouth.“Apology accepted, is there a way to make me her assistant?” Alex asked as he gazed at his secretary.Jared sat on the couch then he began to work on the laptop on with him, “I’m not sure, according to what I see here, her secretary did resign but they’ve already chosen a candidate.”Alex scrunched up in thought his face in thought, lips pursed, he asked. “I don’t care just make me her secretary by any means necessary.”“But sir-“Jared, that was not a request, it was an order,” Alex stated as
Alexander stared at the picture of Olivia on his laptop. Apparently, she had just resumed work and the daily times decided to make that a major news. He checked his phone for the umpeenth time as he wondered if that was why she left his message on read. Nobody has ever left his message read…ever. As Alexander plunged deep into his thoughts, a wet snout rubbed his toe. “Stop it, Ralph,” Alexander cautioned as he glared at his tiger who sat beneath his feet. His tiger growled in annoyance. The tiger couldn’t simply understand why its owner didn’t have time for him these past few days. Alex sighed then patiently began to massage the belly of his tiger, “I know you want me to play with you Ralph but I don’t have time, I’m chasing someone right now…don’t worry you’ld see her soon.” As if understanding his statement, the white furred tiger with black stripes rolled away from its owner then went to play with its squishy toy. Suddenly, Alex’s phone rang. He glanced at his phone only to
