Chapter 23: Chaos Aftermath

While the sense of betrayal persisted after I thought back on what had happened that evening, I noticed that my jaw had relaxed whenever I remembered my wife's expression following the accident. Adeline's body had already been taken to the nearest hospital when I got to the scene of the accident.
