CHAPTER 22

"John? What are you doing here?" I asked him with my eyes opened widely as I approached him. I lost Hannah somewhere along my way to John but I think she managed on her own.

"You look surprised." John gave me a small husky smile and a tiny wink. Adorable, just like in the old days.

"You think?" I exclaimed as I gently punched him on his left shoulder. I was surprised that he shown here, but in a good way. Though, I couldn't connect the dots with who he came. I think he doesn't know any of my college friends, I mean, they are far away from my home. Our home.

"I came with Nadia." He said nonchalantly.

I couldn't admit myself that, but I think I froze a bit. He came with a girl? He saw my surprised face and he smiled widely. I could tell he's enjoying this.

"Cool." I tried to stay calm but something inside me was nervous. Who's that girl? And where is he now? Ugh, why am I even thinking about it now? I don't care. "Where the hell is Hann?"
