_Aurora’s POV_

Adrian laughed.

It didn’t sound forced as he threw his head back, chuckling deeply.

Like Damien hadn’t just threatened his life like this was nothing.

Like Damien was nothing.

“Relax,” Adrian said lightly, leaning back in his chair. “I was only making an offer.”

Only.

The word hung in the air like poison. He knew it wasnt just an offer when he tried to steal me from my boss right in front of my boss.

Damien didn’t laugh, he didn’t find it funny and he didn’t move.

He didn’t blin

  • Teach me, Mr Blackwood   Good riddance

_Aurora’s POV_ The hallway suddenly felt too small for the amount of anger rushing through me.“You people ignored me for months,” I said slowly. “And now you’re standing outside my apartment talking about friendship?”Dami scoffed through the phone.“Oh my God, you’re still hung up on that?”Still hung up on—I laughed again in disbelief.“Do you know what’s actually insane?” I asked quietly. “The fact that you genuinely think you’re entitled to anything from me right now.”Cole immediately stepped forward slightly.“No one said entitled—”“Then what exactly are you doing here?”Neither of them answered immediately. Because there wasn’t a good answer and we all knew it.I folded my arms tighter.“When my father cut me off, none of you cared,” I continued. “I went from having people around me constantly to complete silence overnight.”Cole opened his mouth but I didn’t let him speak.“You know what the funniest part is?” My voice shook slightly now from anger. “I actually thought som

  • Teach me, Mr Blackwood   F. R. I. E. N. D. S

Aurora’s POVThe second I opened the door, regret hit me immediately.Cole stood outside my apartment looking exactly the same as always.Perfect hair. Expensive jacket. That same easy smile that used to make people trust him instantly.Except now, looking at him after everything that happened, all I could think was that he looked fake.Completely fake. And judging by the way irritation immediately crawled up my spine, my body agreed.“Aurora!” his face lit up dramatically like we were long-lost best friends reuniting after years apart instead of two people who hadn’t properly spoken in months. “Finally.”Behind me, I heard Ayla shifting slightly on the couch, probably trying to figure out who the hell was at my door. Before I could even respond, another voice blasted loudly through Cole’s phone speaker.“Oh my God, is that her? Aurora? Hi babe!”Dami.Of course. They both of them had to be in the same thing. I almost shut the door immediately.Instead, I leaned against the frame and

  • Teach me, Mr Blackwood   Friends

Aurora’s POV“My man?” I repeated carefully, staring at Ayla like she had just lost her mind.Ayla looked entirely unconvinced.“Yes. Your man.” She pointed the mug in her hand toward me accusingly. “The tall scary one that looks like he could kill somebody for breathing too loudly.”Despite myself, I snorted.“That describes a lot of people.” I wasn’t about to call Damien my mab. “The billionaire one.”Unfortunately that narrowed it down immediately.I shifted deeper into the couch, pulling the blanket tighter around myself while pretending I suddenly found the tea in my hands fascinating.“There is no man.”“Oh please.” Ayla rolled her eyes dramatically. “I was literally there.”My stomach sank instantly.Right.The auction.I had almost forgotten she witnessed part of that entire disaster.“You should’ve seen yourselves,” she continued, looking far too entertained for someone who was crying outside my building two hours ago. “The sexual tension alone was making me uncomfortable.”

  • Teach me, Mr Blackwood   Ah shit

Aurora’s POVWhen I got to my apartment building, I saw a face I genuinely never expected to see again. At first, I thought I was imagining things. The girl standing near the entrance kept pacing nervously, one foot tapping rapidly against the pavement while she looked around like she was waiting for someone. Her hair was messy. Her clothes looked wrinkled. And even from a distance, I could tell something was wrong. But why was she standing in front of MY building. Maybe she wasn’t here for me.Maybe she knew someone else in the building. But then she looked up.And the second her eyes landed on me, relief flooded her face so quickly it almost startled me.“Aurora…” she breathed. Before I could react, she started hurrying toward me.My steps slowed automatically as recognition hit me fully.Ayla.The girl from the auction. The same girl whose terrified face had haunted me for weeks after everything happened. The same girl Damien’s men had rescued.Except she looked completely differe

  • Teach me, Mr Blackwood   Love-hate

_Aurora’s POV_I pushed through the revolving doors and stepped outside into the busy street. The sunlight hit my face immediately and I brought my arm to cover my face. Behind me, Damien finally caught up.“Aurora, stop walking away from me.” He called out.I spun around so quickly he almost walked into me.“Why?” I asked sharply. “So you can tell me again that none of this means anything?”His jaw clenched.“That’s not what I said.”“It’s exactly what you said.”People walking past us slowed slightly, clearly curious about the tension radiating between us.I know I said I didn’t care, but I lowered my voice anyway.“You told me we agreed to no feelings,” I continued. “Which was apparently your very elegant way of reminding me I’m stupid for caring about you.”“You are not stupid.”“Then what am I? Because surely you don’t think I am quite smart.LDamien opened his mouth slightly before closing it again. He had no answer.Exactly.I laughed bitterly and shook my head.“You know what

_Aurora’s POV_“Damien.” I called out his name, keeping my eyes closed as nu tried to control nyself.I could hear my heart racing in my chest and it took me everything to not throw myself at him.“What’s rhe matter, Aurora?” His voice sent ripples down my spine, straight to my pussy. This isnt supposed to be happening. I thought to myself, but yet I made no efforts to push away.“Your fiancé might walk in.” I said. My eyes opening slowly and I turned my head to look at Damien. He had no right to do this to me. He has no right to have a fiancé and then act like nothing happened. “Let her.” He breathed, his grey eyes locked on mine. This man was going to be the end of me. And God forbid i let that happen.I tore my gaze away from him, keeping my eyes fixed stubbornly on the elevator numbers above the door, even though my entire body was painfully aware of him standing beside me.He was way too close. “You’re engaged,” I reminded him quietly, hoping my voice sounded steadier than I
