Chapter 49

"This is yours?" I looked up as my eyes wandered the huge house he just brought me into. It was almost as big as their family's mansion. The high, modern ceiling was so damn good plus the shimmering chandeliers.

"Our. This is our house," he declared.

"What do you mean our house?" My eyes widened at him. "You just bought this."

He chuckled. "No. I bought this, a long time ago. I just don't stay here often and since we're already married, this is considered yours as well."

I didn't know if I would be happy or shy. I did nothing to deserve to have a house this big and fancy.

"What's with the face? Don't you like this?" He wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "Should we buy another house?"

"What?! No!" I slapped his chest. "It's not necessary. I mean, you have the mansion and you have this. I think it's enough."

He chuckled. "Once you experience living for a hundred years, you will see that one house isn't enough. You will get bored and of course, civilization happens so yeah." He shrugge
