"Beta Jacob, hi." I smiled at him before I looked around again, still hoping to see a glimpse of Fenris.

"You're not with Fenris?" Jacob asked.

"Ah--- we came here together. I guess now he's just busy talking to his friends."

Beta Jacob nodded before he sat on the sofa and he put his plate on the mini table in front of it. "You're free to sit with me." He tapped the space on the seat. "If you're feeling lost. Gala can be a bit overwhelming perhaps."

I looked around again before I sat beside Jacob. He started eating his food. I kinda felt hungry but my appetite wasn't so friendly to me these past few days.

I nodded just so he wouldn't push me to try some of what he was eating. I raised my hand and grabbed the attention of someone serving the alcohol. I asked for a beer and he gave me a bottle and a glass.
